I cannot recommend McMovers enough. I've hired them twice and I will NEVER move in California without them. Moving is such a stressful experience and they have helped to make it as pleasant as humanly possible. McMovers had 6 people come to move our large Five-bedroom house to a third floor walk-up in NYC. Each and every one of the movers was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease about maintaining the integrity of our stuff (including a lot of important fine art). They were extremely organized and made sure to put every box we labeled in its proper room when we got to our new apartment. They even gave us some much-needed advice on the best way to utilize our space. And did I mention how super friendly they were the whole time? And, finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention McMovers amazing price! I also got a quote from another long distance moving company who literally wanted to charge me three times as much as McMovers... Thanks again guys!
These movers came highly recommended and it's well deserved. They were on time, fast, and really nice. Setting up the move was a breeze too. If you're moving cross country and you're dreading it, these folks make it insanely easy.
