Mrs. [redacted]'s 2012 Dodge Charger was towed to the dealership on 12/4/14 with a no start condition. On 12/5/14 we followed Chrysler's recommended procedure for checking a battery before replacing a...
battery in a vehicle. When we put her car on our tester, the tester read "Charge required"-"severely discharged battery" and the required charge time was for 107 minutes. We charged the battery for the recommended time and read the display. The results read "bad cell-replace". We contacted the customer and they advised us that they would pick the car up and for us to do not replace the battery. On a separate issue, this car has an outstanding recall concerning the alternator. The parts are not available from Chrysler at this time.
