I am sending a blank copy of our lease If you look at #we have a $c.a.m.(common area maintenance fee) for everyone living at this apartmentIf you look at paragraph of the lease it explains what happens at moveoutAlso, I am sending a copy of the move out letter that was send to *** Professional carpet cleaning was done, also cleaning which included ceiling fans and lights, baseboards, registers, windows, blinds, bathroom fans, a better cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen,etc The bedrooms had smoke damage from candle burning and washing of walls and paint touch up was needed.A letter with move out instructions was sent to all our tenants before moveout.We have units and each are done by professionals the same way as this apartment was done The lease is available to read before signing.McMullen Properties

We feel as though we abided by the lease and stand by our previous response which is accurate and binding.Thank you, [redacted] McMullen

I am rejecting this response because:1. All of our lightbulbs were in working condition. The price charged per lightbulb is unreasonable ($4 apiece); it is far above average. 2. "Cleaning" in letter sent to me is too vague. What was cleaned? Where? Who was hired to clean and what was the hourly rate? Was cleaning spent equally on each bedroom because we have separate leases and damage to other bedrooms is not my problem. Does that cleaning dollar amount include the cost of supplies or just labor?3. Nail holes and painting: once again which bedrooms? Common living area? Charged by an hourly rate? Including supplies? Much to vague for how expensive.4. Called a security deposit on top of letter but damage deposit on bottom. If it is a damage deposit; do not charge me for cleaning because cleaning is not damage.5. We cleaned the apartment for 5 days. We washed everything and the place was spotless. 6. I would also like to find out how [redacted] McMullen gave [redacted] her money back. She moved out in February and did not return her keys or help in any of the cleaning. I think it is unfair that she did not abide by the move out instructions and we had to pick up the slack. 7. I tried to call [redacted] and Joann multiple times. They ignored my calls and would not return my voice messages or calls for weeks. Then [redacted] finally called me back but when I mentioned that I would like to discuss my deposit he hung up on me. He also only returned one of my emails.
