In response to your letter regarding above complaint:I initiated the job on April 1, with a visit to the property at the request of the property owner to find and mark or set the property cornersAt that time, assisted by the property owner, I looked for the corners using standard surveying
practices Unable to find anything that would assist me in completing the job at that time, I explained to the property owner that the job would be much more involved than initially discussed requiring more extensive work and timeThis would increase the original estimate for doing the workThe property owner was satisfied and requested that I continue with the work.The property owner and I communicated through phone calls and text messaging several times throughout the jobAccording to our records, I responded to all of them on a timely basisThis information is documented in our files. I spoke to the property owner, first with a phone call and then with text messaging, the day prior to arriving on the property as well as the day I did the surveyMy contact responded and we planned to meet on the property Upon completion of the work, I showed the property owner the property corners that I had marked and I explained the resultsThe property owner was satisfied with the work and did not need anything else done on the property.As a standard practice of our company, a letter was mailed to the property owners that gave our contact information, the service that we would provide as per their request and our financial policyAt no time did they ask us to stop or cancel the job
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.I have spoken with Mr. McMurry, and he did allow me a longer time to pay than the requested 5 days. However, I am still waiting to hear back from him regarding payment, and the hourly break down that I requested. I spoke with him on August 1st, and have not heard back.
