Memorial Day 2017, my wife and I called McNamara Cab to pick us up from the ***a train station in Flossmoor, ILWe were returning from *** AirportThe cab arrived on time, but as we approached the passenger door, the cab driver didn't make any attempt to help us put our suitcases in the trunk of the cabHe didn't budge from his driver's seatWe opened and loaded our bags ourselves, and then when we entered the cab, he offered no explanation for why he didn't assist usHe just sat, silent and stoicWe only live a mile and a quarter from the train station and would have walked home rather than continue with this cab driverBut it was 11:at night and we were exhausted from our flightWe gave the driver our address and he punched it into his GPS system and then proceeded to drive past our destinationWe told him about his mistake and he stopped in the middle of 192nd and Kedzie, where there are no street lights, and looked exasperated at usAt that point, I paid him, and my wife and I exited the cab, retrieved our bags and walked the rest of the way homeWe called McNamara Cab to lodge a complaint and the dispatcher who answered was very dismissiveHe explained the cab driver not helping us with our bags was due to the driver recently having hip surgery, but there was nothing else he could do except say he was sorryWe asked if we could file our complaint with the company's owner and we were told that the owner doesn't talk to customersThe dispatcher even told us that if he tried to connect us with the owner that he would be firedThis cab company doesn't care about good customer serviceThey expect you to take whatever kind of service they feel like giving you, and then refuse to take responsibility when service is badAnyone thinking about using them would be much better off coming up with alternative choicesMcNamara Cab is horrible!

CONSUMER BEWARETHEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR "FLAT RATE" AIRPORT RATES
I EVEN PRINTED IT OUT (TO HAND TO THE DRIVER AS THEY PICKED US UP & ARE DRIVING HOME)...AND SURE IT'S PRETTY MUCH THEIR "PLAN"...HE SOBBED, "OH NO, SORRY MA'AM THAT IS NOT WHAT I CAN CHARGE"
I SHOULD'VE STORMED OUT OF THE CAB (IT WAS ABOUT DOUBLE THE COST) BUT THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING (IT WAS JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT)
THEY ARE SLIMY, DUPLICITOUS FRAUDULENT CRIMINALS.....PAY NO ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY WRITE ON THEIR WEBSITE, THEY WILL NOT HONOR IT
DRIVER ACTUALLY SAID THE
PERSONS ANSWERING PHONE MESS WITH THEM (DISPATCH) TO MAKE THEIR LIVES MISERABLEBS!!!
TRIED TO REACH THE OWNER OR SOMEONE THERE ONCE HOME THE NEXT DAY, NO GO....THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST FRAUD GOING ON THE SOUTH-SUBURBS, NO NOT LET THEM FOOL YOU!!!!!!!
THEY ARE AN EGREGIOUS HORRIBLE COMPANY!
