I am honoring my contract, I AM still owed $$$$, per City of [redacted] , Miss [redacted] must pay for permits per the City, I have communicated with the City, and their attorney You have lied during this process when you made the statement: "I would like a refund of my paid, as I've already had to pay an additional $to fix the first round of mistakes, and now that he has ruined it more since I have vacated, the new owners expect me to repair what he has ruined as wellThis project will wind up costing twice as much by the end." YOU NEVER PAID THE NEW HOMEOWNERS ONE CENT ON BEHALF of McNamara's Home Improvement, so your statement is completely false!!! The $WAS FOR A GLUED FLOOR THAT WAS INSTALLED WHEN THE FLORIDA ROOM WAS ADDED approxyears ago; the floor was a glue less floor that should HAVE NEVER BEEN GLUED Hundreds and hundreds of potential customers look at my Revdex.com account every yearIN YOUR REJECTION, you finally admitted that the $was for a glued down floor that had nothing to do with McNamara's Home Improvement, LLC & not for the "as I've already had to pay an additional $to fix the first round of mistakes..." Very confusedI spoke with Ms [redacted] yesterday, at pm approximately She made no mention of contacting the Revdex.com I did not have my phone with me yesterday; left in another vehicle Yes there was a small little drop of dry wall mudI will take pictures of the paint on the floor that we had nothing to do withI am even doing extras for free for them I will send in pictures this eveningWe were using tarps & small drop clothes

***, *** complaint First of all, I never use the term PROMISE in LIFE at ALL. I was hired to repair some deck boards, replace a post, rebuild part of a deck railing, install doors, small floor repair, replace piece of wood siding and cut out rotted wood under Florida room & replace insulation then new wood. The doors were special order and took almost weeks for delivery. I was given a deposit of $2500. Contract is over $5000. I have completed several extras. Miss *** never stated that I was the 2nd contractor hired by her; I would have never taken the jobI did send an email about what we had left for the title companyI did explain to miss *** & her relator that there was unforeseen circumstances once we pulled the doors out. There was severe water damage; I al ready sent you guys the pictures of the rotted wood. The glueless floor was glued together, which we had to remove. This added time from me being away from the job finding material. The relators put me in the middle of which party was lying: the new homeowners or *** relatorsThe homeowners popped in & stated that the relator stated that we had new flooring on site & the flooring did not matchWE HAD NO NEW FLOORING ON SITE. Interesting that I was put in the middle. I told both *** & THE RELATOR that I had to replace the rotted woodThe rotted wood does not just pop outI had to remove the stained paneling on the interior & replace rotted wood with new wood and then re-install the stained paneling. The first door came out no problem but the second door had an extra layer of caulk that we could not see because the trim mold was covering it, we scored the visible caulk just like we did on the other doorThe extra layer of caulk was added years ago to slow down the leaking. Miss ***'s mom was there and she was in tears saying that if this house does not close then she can not close on the residence that she purchased I was able to comfort her; I have been thru a lot in my years of life and with *** *** ***. City of *** has helped out, the building commissioner gave me the option of returning her deposit or finish the job. THATS WAS IN A LETTER PRIOR TO me contacting himI explained to him that I did several items that were not part of my contract and that I have to much money in. Miss *** is responsible for the balance of contract, permit fee, and add ons. I am responsible for original contract. She is to pay the permit fee prior to work starting & no money is expected until all inspections are passed & job is complete. I have sent Miss *** an email and received no response I have no idea what Miss *** is speaking about $for the first round of mistakes. Miss *** gave some checks to the new homeowners; I have no idea what they were for. I know she gave a check to the new home owner because the Florida room sunk over the YEARS, if she is referring to that $2600. I would like a detailed answer on what the $check she gave the new homeowners was forI told miss ***, that I will complete the remaining items this spring in my recent email weather permitting. I NEVER ONCE SAID I WAS COMPLETED, WHERE S MY CHECK, OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT, JUST THE OPPOSITE I HAVE TO REPLACE THE ROTTED WOOD & DO IT RIGHTIt s going to take longer, Miss *** should have pushed back the closingPlain & SimplePLEASE ADD: That some of deck boards, railings, etc. were installed temporarily for safety sake. Sincerely, Patrick M Mc Namara

Business responded to complaint See attached as well. I have been having a problem with *** our internet providerI tried to click on to respond to complaint but it would not let me so here is my response I was
hired by *** to complete some repairs at her home in ***After removing the doors the wood inside the exterior & interior walls was rotted thus requiring more work I was never finished with the project and I was asked to leave by the new homeowners who happened to get more money out of ***The damage was a lot more than expected The water(rain, snow, sleet, etc) was getting behind the wood siding allowing water damage to happen everywhereNEVER once did I say I was complete, ask for a walk thru, ask for my final payment, etc I communicated this with the relator, new homeowner, and ***The relator and new home owner actually put me in the middle when one party (the relator said that we had material on site & the new material did not match for a new floor that had to be replaced due wrong installation from prior contractor according to new homeowner) one of these party's was lying But I solved the issueIn replacing the doors some exterior trim & 2x4s were damaged upon removal which somebody used extra caulk that you could not see *** kept giving money off after a home was sold as isAs for the deck, I connected some old boards & railings for safety reasons because the new homeowners were moving in & we were not finished with the deck was being destroyed by water damage which ants, carpenter ants, termites, etc were visible damage was evidentI will download & send you picture of postWe take a sample piece of existing painted wood and take it to *** *** & match it with their paint match machineIt matched perfectly for the deck boards but not the house boards Again, I was never finished with the job due to the extra workI would have never taken then job if *** would have told me from the get go that she fired a different contractor, she recently told me thatI never get in the middle of those types of situations I do a lot of work for several relators & I have never seen anything like thisI am out over $currently & I will be leining that property very shortly Finally, *** attacked my integrity during this process when she could have easily recovered this money from her insurance companyIf you need anything else please let me knowI have morep ictures that need to be downloaded but I was unable to.ThanksPatrick Mc Namara

Attached is the original estimate The fourth attachment was Patrick's commitment to finishing the job before the title transferred

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.) I reject this response as this does not address the main focus of the complaint which was to complete the jobThis does not address when the job will be done as this is the main issue with other frustrationsI did in fact leave a text message indicating my intent to file the complaint as I was not able to speak with him despite the previous day requesting he call me and then multiple calls again the following day without response until pmI did indeed speak to MrMcNamara at pm last night with him again promising the job will be done in hours and did verbalize my concerns over the lack of attention to the job site including lack of knowledge as to what exactly was to be completed as well as sloppy work with paint and mudHe assured me it would be cleaned up and the job completed in hoursI am unwilling to close this until the job is in fact complete as I have lost confidence and trust and therefore will wait until he has completed the job which is all we have been asking for from the beginning.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I cannot accept this offer as I don't live in the house anymore and information provided by McNamara is incorrect I hired Patrick McNamara after my current deck repair man could not meet the job start requirements prior to the transfer of the title Patrick knew this at this time and said he was two weeks out Deposit was paid two weeks later, but job was a late start and still wasn't progressing by August Copies of all texts and emails will be provided to [email protected] as I reminded Patrick of our close date Patrick, on the Sunday before closing was asked to draft an email to both realtors to state that he would be finished prior to title transfer He did That email will be forwarded, as well When the realtors decided to transfer the title despite the job not being finished, an addendum was filed(attached here), and I paid outside of the house sale to the buyers for the FL Floor issues I will also forward the emails to [email protected] from Patrick detailing the that he quoted to them to replace the entire floor It was said in the addendum that Patrick would finish prior to them taking possession on Monday, with me leaving the Friday before I was not told of further damage above the door, but will provide the photos Patrick sent me detailing the issue with the floor being glued down When Patrick and the realtors started communicating with the new owners, thats when things became muddied Additionally, the new owners fired him and are expecting me to pay them over times the cost of the contract to fix things that weren't even in the contract I do not know if Patrick's plans to finish the project will be accepted, as I don't live in the house and don't know the status of the deck and Florida room to date.
