NEVER USE McNeese Glass!!!

They lied to me, took 8 times longer than promised, and cussed at the customer.

Here is my experience with this company.

September 8:
I took 1 door and 1 window to McNeese Glass to have the glass replaced. I was told it would take 1 week and they would call me when it was ready to be picked up. I paid $110.45 in full upfront which was a big mistake.

1 ½ Weeks Later:
I called to make sure that I hadnâ??t missed their call and to see if my door and window were ready. I was told that they had just been backed up and waiting on the glass for my window. The lady I was speaking with then told me that the glass had come in that day and would be put in â??that day.â? I reaffirmed that they would call me once it was ready. They said they would.

3 Weeks Later:
I called 3 times during their business hours (3:45pm) and never had anyone answer the phone. (Screenshot of their business hours listed on google below)

4 Weeks Later:
I called 3 MORE times during their business hours (3:45pm) and still nobody answered their phones. I began to wonder if they had gone out of business and just taken all of my money.

October 13 (5 weeks laterâ?¦ Thatâ??s 35 days):
I called again and finally had someone answer. I believe his name was [redacted]. When he answered I was put on hold for a little over 5 minutes. Once he took me off hold I began to explain that it has been over a month since I dropped off my items and that I still havenâ??t received a call informing me that they are fixed. I told him that I have called multiple times during their business hours and could not get anyone to answer. He checked to see if my door and window had been fixed and then explained that the window was still not fixed. He did tell me the door was fixed and I could come by and pick it up if I wanted too but I explained that I would prefer to pick them both up at the same time since it was really out of the way from where I live. I asked him why I was told it would take a week and it still wasnâ??t finished. He told me that they had received the wrong type of glass from their supplier. I can understand receiving the wrong parts from the supplier one time. But if after a month has passed they still havenâ??t received the correct glass, they should use a different supplier (I kept this thought to myself). I was curious as to why they failed to mention that after I spoke with them the first time when they told me the glass had come in. I calmly and respectfully, which was tough, explained the situation and asked him, â??Can you see why Iâ??d be a little frustrated?â? The man on the phone replied, â??Yes I can understand but you griping at me will not speed it up. You can gripe at me, and I can gripe to them (meaning the glass supplier), but thatâ??s not going to do anything.â? I said, â??I understand.â? Then I asked him when the glass will come in and when will it be put in. (This conversation was on a Monday) He told me it will be in on Wednesday and put in my window frame. I asked him, â??Are you referring to this Wednesday? As in 2 ½ days from now? Or the following Wednesday?â? This was a serious question as there had already been so much miscommunication, I wanted to clarify. He replied very sarcastically, â??Sir, thatâ??s 1, 2, 3 days from now. Wednesday.â? I said, â??Ok. Well please give me a call when it is finished.â? This concluded our phone call. I had managed to keep my composure and addressed him in a calm and understanding manner, even though this is not how I felt.

November 3, 2014 (56 days laterâ?¦ 8 weeks):
It has now been 56 days since I dropped off my ONE door, and ONE window. I finally received a call this afternoon informing me that my door and window are finally ready. When I showed up I spoke with the man that I had talked to on the phone 3 weeks earlier. We put my door and window in my car then I asked for my money back for obvious reasons. The man refused. I told him that it has been 56 days since I dropped these items off and I was told 1 week. He kept saying, â??Thereâ??s nothing I can do about it.â? I told him he should seek new suppliers if they cannot receive materials. I continued that making me wait nearly 2 months was simply unprofessional and poor business. I then informed him that I was going to leave poor reviews on Yelp and Google and report him to the Revdex.com. To this he replied, â??Do what you gotta do. Now get your S[redacted] and get out of here.â? So I left.

Throughout this whole process I never once used profanity. I never once received a single phone call informing me of delays. I have been missing a door and a window to my house for almost 2 MONTHS! That has caused my utility bills to rise and more importantly, greatly increased the risk to my home security. I imagine that nobody would feel their house is safe while a door and a window is missing.

I will never recommend this company to anyone. This company is unprofessional, rude, unreliable, and borderline criminal. I am amazed that McNeese Glass Company can even stay in business if this is how they treat their customers.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!
