Review: The job is to buy replacement fluorescent bulbs for a business I am an employee of and then replace bulbs in the ceiling that no longer sufficiently provide light in the business place.
You bought the bulbs, which I promptly reimbursed you for under the belief that all of the bulbs bought would be used immediately. But you did not replace all, but one, of the bulbs that you were supposed to swap. I have no reason to buy $38 dollars of bulbs if only 1 bulb is going to be used. I would have opted to purchase only 1 bulb if the case was that I only needed to replace 1 bulb.
The problem is that you took payment for a job that was not completed. The agreement is that you buy bulbs to replace old bulbs and replace those that need to be replaced. The financial agreement is that I reimburse you for the cost of supplies (bulbs) and pay $30 for labor.Desired Settlement: Come back and get the job done, or reimburse me for the full cost of all unused bulbs and unfinished work. Furthermore, I am without a light cover because your company's attempt to replace the original light cover was inherently flawed. You neglected to use a tape measure before purchasing a replacement light cover which then resulted in having to use duct-tape to keep it from falling. Unfortunately the very next day, the light cover was hanging half way out of the light case, threatening to fall down (and injure a customer as they walk in) and was taken down by another of your employees who later determined (with tape measure) that the light cover was never destined to fit as it is the wrong size.
Total expected reimbursement:
bulb cost of $38 less the cost of 1 bulb.
$30 for service that has still not been finished.
Damages:
$11 for a light cover that has been damaged and not replaced. An attempt has been made, but not with the correct precautions. A measurement was not taken before purchasing the replacement light cover. Therefore, I expect either a correct-fit replacement fully installed or at the very least a monetary compensation in order to cover the cost of materials to fix it myself.
