Attention: [redacted]
[redacted] our Jr. Partner [redacted] has spoken to [redacted] regarding the debt being reported to her Credit Bureau. We spoke to the doctors office who ordered the lab work and verifed the debt as well we were going to send her in writing the proof of debt....

She became very upset and made several more threats to Mr, Patterson about reporting us further. She refused to take the information we offered and Mr, Patterson ended the call. I have decided to delete the information from her credit file to close the matter due to the small balance owed. It will take about 45 days for the update to hit Transunion. I will consider this matter closed and [redacted] should also consider this matter resolved. If you need any further information from me please do not hesitate to contact me.

Very helpful and always friendly. They are always willing to help with any client you may have. They went out of there way to come in on a Saturday to help with one of my clients. I would recommend McNeil & Meyers to any business.

Review: [redacted] with McNeil and Myers continue to contact me with harrassing phone calls. She has threateded to sue me and call my human resources department to tell them about a debt so that she can garnish my wadges without going to court. I explained to her that I knew better. She stated that she was well connected and she will get it done. She also call me at my job after I have told her that I can't take personal phone calls. She stated that wasn't her problem and I am to pay what I owe or she will never stop calling. I have save some of the harrassing and disrespectful messages she has left on both my mother and I phones also have saved the conversation we had the first time we spoke. I understand I have rights and I will not be belittled, harrassed or disrespected. I was never sent anything in writing from McNeil and Myers concerning this debt just constant phone call and harrassing messages.Desired Settlement: There are laws prohibiting harrassment and bullying. I ask that [redacted]s and all Mcneil and myers' staff would abide by them.

Response:

I have reviewed the complaint filed by [redacted]. I have also spoke to [redacted]s who is a supervisor with my firm. She has advised me that Ms. [redacted] alleged allegations of harrasment is totally wrong. [redacted] has spoken to the customer only one time and at that time she was told that she could not get calls at work. [redacted] has not called since, I have pulled our phone records and have confirmed that. Also the allegations of garnishing her wages is also not correct, after her refusal to pay the debt, [redacted] did ask to be transferred to payroll department and Ms. [redacted] ended the call, that was all that was said during that conversation. The customer then called our client immediately after ending the call with our office and stated that she would pay the debt when she could. The client then told Ms. [redacted] she had to seal with our office and that was that. McNeil & Meyers wants to handle the matter with respect to Ms. [redacted], but making up stories on a person like [redacted]s is uncalled for, she has over 25 years experience in the business and does not treat people like that and I know from personal experience watching her and monitoring her calls. I will stop calls to her job. We will continue to collect as allowed by law.

Review: I was originally contacted by McNeil and Meyers a few weeks ago thorough a letter. I was told to call as soon as possible to handle a collections dispute with a previous company I had business with which was Nueces Electric Co-op as they were my previous electric company. I initially call soon after and they explained to me that it was the final bill that I apparently never paid. I told them that I had paid the final bill almost a year before and wanted to know how to prove it. Eventually I sent via e-mail, the bank statement that shows the final bill being paid. I was then contacted today, 12/19/2015 by a lady named Shauna who called from ([redacted] She explained to me that the proof that I sent was not enough and that I either had to pay the amount or they would attempt to bring me into court. She then told me that the message was being recorded after we had spoken and would be used against me as well. After we hung up I explained to my father the issue and he had some unanswered issues as well. He called her back to get some clarification but she soon became hostile with him. She began speaking to him very rudely and even went as far as name-calling by saying that I "ran to go cry to daddy." My father then asked to speak to a supervisor and she responded that she was one, then he asked to speak to the owner and in turn she again responded rudely that she was the owner. She acted very unprofessional towards the two of us, not only because of the name-calling but also because she claimed she was trying to help me but instead seemed to only give me one option, and that was to pay the balance. This company sounds very shady to me and I do not trust their intentions.Desired Settlement: I would like more assistance in this matter but not from this very rude individual. All I am trying to do is resolve a bill that has already been paid and would like help trying to prove it.

Response:

In review of the request, we had our VP of Sales speak with our client. This account is now closed with our agency, with a zero balance. We have sent a request to have our reporting deleted from his Trans Union credit report.

Review: The collection agency, Mcneil & Meyers, has contacted me several times in regards to an outstanding medical bill. According to the agency, I received services from Dr. Gevas Steven in 2009. The collection agency is unable to substantiate this fact. I was told the doctor billed Coreplus on my behalf for diagnostic testing; the collection agency is collecting this alleged Coreplus account. However, in 2009 I was a minor, and only saw my pediatrician. Additionally, as a minor, I could not have been billed for this alleged service because I was under my parents' insurance. Therefore, this outstanding debt is not mine.Desired Settlement: A fair resolution would be to remove this false outstanding debt from my credit score, as I did not incur these charges.

Review: This company has taken the liberty to place this negative account on my credit file. This is the first time that I have ever heard of such a debt with this company or the company core plus. I've never had any business relationship with this company or core plus for that matter. This account is fraudulent and does not belong to me. I have disputed tis account with the credit bureau and this company refuses to remove this account off my credit file. This company is stating that I owe them a balance of $104.13, which is very impossible considering that I never received any service from this company or Core Plus. This is character assassination and unfair business practice. This is a phantom debt. This is very unlawful and time consuming for a consumer who should have never had to deal with this matter in the first place.Desired Settlement: Cease and desist and removal of this negative inaccurate item off my credit file immediately, immediately, immediately.

Great Service! Great Reps!

Review: Received an automated call (asking me to wait for them) on 4/16/2015 @ 3:27pm from this collection agency (from tel # ###-###-####) called after receipt of cease and desist letter. Letter was received by McNeil & Meyers on 4/13/2015 at 12:21pm (This system is not allowing me to input the usps tracking number as for some reason it thinks it's a social security number, but I can forward the information if needed). The caller (I believe his name was ** but not 100% sure as he said his name quickly) made it clear that he was calling in reference to the letter that I had mailed. The letter specifically stated that they are to cease contact with me and that any further contact should be pursuant with the FDCPA. It is my understanding that the only communication allowed after sending a cease and desist letter is that they can only contact me one more time, via mail to let me know one of the following: that further efforts to collect the debt are terminated, that certain actions may be taken by the collector, or that the collector is definitely going to take certain actions. [15 USC 1692c] 805(c) In addition to this violation, the caller was very rude.Desired Settlement: I would like this company penalized for a blatant violation of the FDCPA. Additionally, I would like them not to contact me further. Additionally, I would like any information reported to my credit file be deleted.

Response:

In review of this account, the only notice we show being received with the exception of this one, was from the Trans Union Credit Bureau which we did reply to. In further review of the account we have decided for sake of nuisance to close her file now and we have sent a request to have it deleted from her credit bureau report today, this can take them 30-45 days to complete.
