My recommendation stems from my experience working with Bryan, Kris, Dennis and Casey while having a furnace, humidifier and air filter system installed.
I contacted the company to have my furnace, humidifier, and air conditioner checked out. The furnace was old and hadn't been checked in three years, the humidifier didn't work and the air conditioner needed cleaning. After Bryan checked out the furnace and humidifier, he reviewed his findings and explained the computer generated reports and allowed me to view the guts of the furnace via a pipe inspection camera. He laid out the options for solutions and the cost for the repairs. Before proceeding, I asked for the cost to install a new furnace, air cleaner and humidifier for comparison. Bryan contacted the home office and set up an appointment with Casey and Dennis who presented all the options and pricing later that day.

Due to the cost to repair and the age of my appliances, I opted to install a new furnace, humidifier and filter system. The project was scheduled for the next day and since the heat was off, they offered me a large space heater for the night.
Kris and Bryan arrived the next morning and the project was completed mid-afternoon. The furnace work area, floor area and carpets were cleaner when they left, than when they arrived. They also put tags on all my water and gas shut off valves and explained the difference between using my main water shutoff and my secondary shutoff in an emergency.

I'll use McQuillan Bros for any future plumbing or heating issues and I recommend them to you. The employees are professional, carry the required certifications and are committed to doing what is best for the customer.

P.S. I also signed up for their annual maintenance package.

MCQUILLAN BROS. PLUMBING we had a broken pipe in the ceiling that is connected to our hot water boiler. the technician could not locate the pipe at first so my husband and I had to help him find it. he then quoted us a price of $700 to fix it saying that it was in a difficult spot and would be hard to access and would take time to fix. we reluctantly agreed to the price even though we thought it was a bit high. we then asked him if that included getting the air out of the pipes and resetting the water flow. he said that would cost us an additional $500. we called around and found another plummer who would do that for $180. when the technician presented us with the bill we were also charged $69 for the service call. he spent less then 1 and 1/2 hours with us- about 20 minutes to locate the pipe,about 25 minutes to run to the hardware store and about 30 minutes to fix the pipe. I feel that we were terribly overcharged. they do not charge by the hour they just have a set fee for all calls and then it goes up depending on the work. I called the office to complain and talked to maggie who offered us a 15% discount and she would also take of the service call cost. I still think that $600 is way too much to pay for the work we had done. we would never hire them again because of the expense.

I found the McQuillan Brothers through Angie's List, and called them because I had an industrial grade stoppage in a kitchen drain that I could not open myself. "John", the technician who was provided, worked efficiently to restore the drain. I was particularly impressed that he did not stop when water first flowed down the sink, but continued until he was satisfied that the blockage was completely removed. My overall experience with the McQillan office and field representative was completely pleasant and professional.
