We have done some changes under new Management over the past years, unfortunately we did not catch this fine print error, for that we apologize to Mrs***Since then we have changed the repair order fine print to state that the customer has days for a free retest if vehicle failed smog

So sorry, unfortunately I just read the response from the vendor. There was no miscommunication at all but of course they will say anything to make themselves look good. The person I dealt with even at first admitted that he hadn't told me until the manager got involved and he changed his story. But at any rate, I did get my retest free but the time and the emotion I had to endure will let me know I would not ever go back there and would never recommend this place to anyone,
At least they changed the fine print. But 14 days is crazy because most of the time it is so expensive to fix the problem to pass a smog, I believe that's how they are getting over on people..
