MD HEALTH CONNECTION

I have been working with MD Health Connection to re enroll my son for coverage for 3 weeks now. Their website is terrible and rarely works. I kept getting an error message on enrollment so I called and my case was escalated and was told to call back in 48 hours for an update so I called and was told my case was canceled due to being escalated in error. So this rep tries to do the enrollment over the phone and cant get it to go through either so she then tells me the escalation needs to be done and to call back in another 48 hours. I then get an email that the issue has been resolved. So I go online and attempt again to find out my child has been disenrolled in health coverage and I cant get the application to go through once again. So now he is without insurance and no one can help me or give me an answer. My child has asthma and other health concerns and cant be without insurance.

Mhc randomly cancels your insurance and forgets to disenroll you from cancelled policies. These policies are ones they cancelled but neglected to inform the insurance carrier. Ten or so calls, reference numbers, escalations and it’s still not done. I especially love getting to the doctor and learning I was disenrolled. No explanation, no apology, still no insurance.
Nothing can be done. I am going to quit my job and live without government because this institution is fake.

First let me start by saying I have never interacted with a group of incompetent individuals in my life. I’m fairly certain they hire only stupid people based on my horrible experiences with Maryand Health Connection. For three years my daughter tried to enroll to no avail. Later she learned the representative mixed up her Social Security number thus she never received any health insurance. That year she paid cash for doctors visits and a $700. Penalty to the irs.

Expect to wait on the phone for over an hour if you want to talk to someone.

Review: MY HUSBANDS' HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY WAS CANCELLED W/ OUT PROPER NOTICE FROM THE CARRIER. WE WERE NOTIFIED 66 DAYS AFTER THE CANCELLATION DATE. WHEN REQUESTING RE-IN-STATEMENT WE WERE TOLD THAT WAS NOT ALLOWED AT THIS TIME. SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CANCELLED IN THE FIRST PLACE AND NOW HE IS UNINSURED!!!!!!! THIS IS LUDICROUS!!!!!!Desired Settlement: RE-IN-STATEMENT OF THE POLICY TO 8/1/14 AND WE AGREE TO PAY THE PREMIUM DUE.
