Review: [redacted] was hired to remove a tree which had fallen due to the hurricane in October 2012. He stated that he was really busy due to the storm and was only able to remove the tree but said he would come back in December 2012 to remove the stump of the tree. I spoke with him in January 2013 and asked when he was coming to remove the stump and he said he had hurt himself but he would be there in February 2013. On April 5th 2013, I noticed wood chips in our yard. One of my landscaping lights had been buried and bent over. That night our landscaping lights no longer worked. I phoned [redacted] weeks on 4/6,4/7 and 4/8. He returned my call on 4/8. I explained the situation and expressed my displeasure with the mess that was in the yard. He said some people use the wood chips. I told him that had he called us the night before, we would have let him know that we wanted the wood chips removed and that my husband would have been there. He told me he would be over in "a day or two"to clean up the wood chips and repair the landscaping lights. I asked that he make arrangements with my husband who would want to be there. I left 2 more messages (4/16,4/24) with no return phone call. I started to clean up the wood chips and noticed that the stump is till there. So the problem remains that I still have a stump where the tree was and more importantly that he damaged the landscaping lights.Desired Settlement: I would like him to rectify the situation. He is supposedly a landscaper with many years experience. He goes to a site without notifying the home owner the day before after months of not completing the job,creates a mess and really does not remove the stump and damages my hard wired lighting.He also does not return phone calls.
