Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. We take all complaints from our patients, family members and care givers very seriously. MD2U is dedicated to providing the high quality care that every patient deserves. In order to address concerns, it is imperative that we be made aware of any problems that may have occurred. Multiple staff members have reached out to this individual in an attempt to gather information about this complaint. These attempts have been unsuccessful. Please contact our office to schedule a meeting so that we may address the specifics of this complaint and prevent any reoccurrences in the future.

To whom it may concern: We are in receipt of complaint number [redacted], filed by the relative of one of our former patients. While federal health privacy laws forbid us from sharing any specific details related to the care provided to this patient, we wanted to take this opportunity to respond...
to your inquiry. We have spoken to the complainant previously about her concerns. We acknowledge that her relative did have a few different primary care providers during her tenure with us, however that was due to internal operational changes and not due to staff turnover. And after a review of the patient’s medical chart, we stand behind our provider’s treatment decisions. We do, however, regret that the complainant had a difficult time reaching someone with whom she could express her concerns. In this instance we feel our medical judgment was sound, but our customer service was clearly below our usual standard. We appreciate the complainant’s constructive feedback and we will work to ensure that any gaps in service she experienced are not duplicated in the future. Thank you, MD2U
