Revdex.com:I do accept his response to my complaint He did not do the job I hired him to do Not only did he leave two rooms a wreck, but he informed me he couldn't do the wallpaper stripping job in the dining room because he would need a steamer and he didn't have one But, he managed to tear some good size pieces off the wall, making it impossible for me just to leave it as isI am not carrying this any further, but he knows that he did not do the job he was hired to do [redacted]

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Well, for starters, we had agreed to do multiple rooms, but after seeing his work we could not allow him to move forward with any more workI am not question his customer serviceSure, it would be nice to be notified if your going to be minutes late, and then told you were only going to work a half day*** failed to mention he gave me a bid that stated 2(two) coats would be applied to ceiling, trim and wallsHe did one coat, and as you will see in pictures up close, a poor jobHard to tell imperfections from ft awayHis edges are horriblePrecision is not in his vocabularyI had to tell him I would re do the edges because he said that was his best workIf he could not get it right the first time I doubt he would do it right the second time.I am not sure of these industry standards that he speaks of, but I have had other painters give me bids in the remaining workAfter they saw what he did, they laughed and assured me it would be much better then his workThere's your industry standard...your peers! The room he submitted a picture of had the original color, a darker blue, showing through the light blue2nd coat would of have solved this problemThought that was the arrangement.
My attorney suggested using Revdex.com to get a refund as he does not return calls, texts, or emailsWe are trying to save him paying my legal fees incurredTrust me, he would not be the first painter sued for sloppy work.

*** only has off on Fridays and Mondays so the re-scheduling of work makes it problematic A few Mondays I had scheduled another worker to take care of the one problem that was relayed to me that required some touch-up The individual had
some personal issues that required to postpone the work I have been extremely busy and everything relayed involves a 1-day response time that *** relays is avoidance if not responded to in that time frame
I relayed to *** that the wallpaper removal was extremely difficult due to the way it was hung I said that we could prime and then paint over it to avoid an adjustment on the original estimate which I have a right to do *** agreed to the change from removing the rest of the wallpaper and just painting over Note: The hallway 1st prime coat I never charged *** so the project amount would remain on budgetAnother point to make is *** has a proposed estimate, we have no signed contract for this project There was only one change in regards to the project and that was concerning the wallpaper which was verbal
I tried to schedule this past Monday but *** seemed irritated because another one of her cats was due with kittens so I relayed it would have to be some other Monday *** emailed me on Tuesday and I was in the process to get back to her and reschedule for next Monday and in day she filed this complaint I had no control over the last rescheduling's coupled with the "no responses" in day seems like an emotional complaint from someone who is not happy
I currently have next Monday scheduled to complete any touthat is required as soon as I receive conformation from ***

The customer and I had a verbal agreement to paint the two (2) rooms for the sum of $[redacted].  Work was completed and only a few cut lines needed to be evened out which I relayed would be done in touch-up.  Customer relayed he had a painters sponge and would just do it himself.  I treated...

the customer with the utmost respect as I do with all customers and do not receive returned customers and referrals because I do not.  The customer was careless handling the paint can otherwise a lid does not cause you to dump paint.  I wore comfortable and appropriate attire bearing my companies name.  A money back guarantee was not part of our oral agreement and you cannot get services rendered for free and any attorney will tell you that. If you did not like the services then I am sorry but you are not entitled to any refund.  I have several pictures that show the rooms were painted in line with the residential painting industrial standards.

To whom it may concern,The extimate is for calculation purposes and as a note was never signed and dated for acceptance.  The verbal stated is I would do the 2 rooms for $[redacted] a piece and never stated it would be 2 coats.  There is touch-up that does need attention and I was neverr given the opportunity to correct any issues the customer had, he just expected half the money refunded then he wanted the full amount; he could not make up his mind and started spamming me military slogans which made me feel uncomfortable because it was outside the sccope of business.  The customer relayed he had done edge lines before with a spomge and stated he would take care of it, I never stated that was my best work and would not do anything to correct it.In response to being late, I was 15 minutes late due to having to grab my other car and remained the whole day till the other room was done.  Making a statement that I was going to just be there half the day means nothing since it did not become fact and no timeline was given stating it had to be done that day.I would have done my job to correct any imperfections the customer had brought to my attention; instead, it was relayed to me that things were not working out and he just wanted a refund.  I have hundreds of excellent work pics and "yes" some required touch-up and if I had been given the opportunity his rooms would have been corrected.  I am entitled to billable hours whether a customer is happy or not with the work completed or gives the person a chance to make it right. I was given no such opportunity and then blasted about it and makes comments personal instead of remaining professional.Thank you
