Terrible experience with MDI sports My boys were placed on a team with a coach that didn't show up The coach didn't show up to practices or games, most of which we had to forfeit because of having no coach The communication was virtually non-existent Over half of the team quit before the season was over because of this issue When I spoke to the owner of the organization I was told that he couldn't help what the coach did because he was a volunteer No, he cant help what the coach did, but he could have stepped up and filled in and made sure our children had a different experience than which they did The owner sure didn't have any trouble making sure our fees were paid! he said towards the end of the season that we would all be receiving a credit for the next season, but that never happened He offered one parent a measly dollars off RIDICULOUS! What a waste of time, money, and energy The worst part of it was, my boys who especially enjoyed basketball were turned off to the an activity they used to love What a shame!

MDI sports only wants to make money.........coaches are not dedicated (frequent canceled practices) and the kids play the same two teams over and over. Basketball leagues must get back in the public parks.

Parents ...beware....MDI Sports and their leader [redacted] runs kids out of parks !

A few days ago, we were playing and conditioning at a local park.....his workers called the police on the kids (elementary school age).... saying that we were having organized practices and we could not play at the park.

According to MDI, parents are not allowed to teach their kids how to play basketball while they are around....they wanted us to pay them to play on the courts.

They do not have kids in this age group.....they are simply trying to get parents to pay them to train the kids and then pay more money to enter their sorry [redacted] league.


They called the police and told us to leave the park because we were trying to start a basketball league....bunch of is....not our fault if the elementary kids looked organized and structured versus his training senior high players paying to play on MDI's travel teams.
