I don not understand this complaintA licensed provider saw the patient and recommended follow up tests to complete the work up but patient refused this thinking that the test is not necessary ( is the patient a qualified and licensed medical provider to make this kind of decision? if not, I would
highly rely on MD assessment)Secondly, it is our facility protocol to have patient sign a release form indicating that they were advised of risk and benefits of tests/ treatment but still refused to proceed with recommendations in order to protect our providers and facilities against unnecessary litigationWe are not forcing anyone to do anythingWe are just asking them to sign a form confirming that they were adequately advisedLastly, as a Licensed Professional Medical Corporation, we cannot legally give individual discounts or refunds since it is considered enticementIf patients think that they were not properly treated, they can get second opinion from another providerThank you *** *** , MDMedical Director

What an incredibly frustrating excited experienceMy kids and I were all patients of the former Doctor's center in Fair Oaks and a recent patient of the Pleasant Grove locationDespite their practice of collecting my insurance card, debit card and ID at every visit, on February 15, 2016, I learned that they billed the wrong insurance carrier for my last visit November Today, while waiting in the near-empty waiting room, the lady at check in can't approximate my wait time because there are other "difficult" cases being treatedI'm presuming a sinus or ear infection had me here today and for some reason, there are NO tissues in a Doctor's waiting room I asked the same helpful check in person for tissues and she shrugged and explained they don't have any The assistant behind the desk offered to look and provided me surgical squared to blow my nose inSo disturbing with the flu immunization signs everywhere that they can't see fit to "lead the way" per their website by providing the most needed item to their patientsI will not be back and am sorry for the disgraceful operation this has turned into

We contacted the patient and completed the required paperwork for them. The issue has been resolved.

to me. Although, they did not make the effort to contact me, I had to go in there 4 different times to finally get it resolved, and as such, feel I should be compensated by them canceling the billing on my initial visit. I am, however, willing to resolve this complaint.

Review: I was seen by a physician at this clinic for a sudden onset of back pain. The doctor did a mediocre evaluation and a note to take two weeks off work. I ended up having to be seen two weeks later at the emergency room for what turned out to be diagnosis of a large kidney stone. I went back to this doctor and requested they fill out their portion of my EDD paperwork for the time I had taken off work. He refused to do his online portion and referred me over to the office manager. The office manager instructed me to go down to the EDD office and return with the handwritten forms. I did this, and the doctor continued to refuse to fill out my claim forms. He must be the one to fill out these forms since he was the one to give me 2 weeks off work. EDD requires the claim to be completed in a certain window of time or I will lose my benefits. The doctor treated me as if I was some kind of scammer just trying to get time off work and medications for pain. He felt he shouldn't have to fill out my claim forms and denied knowing how to do that. He instructed me to come back and speak with the owner during a time he would not be available. I am now waiting more time and have a mortgage to pay and children to feed. I paid for this visit and now I am getting the run around from not only the doctor here, but the office manager as well. I have spent extra money in gas running back and forth and even all the way downtown, all the while trying to pass a kidney stone that they never discovered because they did not look further into my back pain, which led to blood in my urine.Desired Settlement: I would like my disability forms to be completed and I feel strongly I should be refunded for the service because of the terrible care I received and having to go to the emergency room for further care, costing me and my insurance yet another large expense.

Review: I took a family member to the MDStat Urgent Care Center on the 17th. After describing her symptoms, the doctor on duty - a Dr. [redacted] - tried to force her to commit to a number of medical tests, including a pregnancy test, which was not needed. When she refused the unnecessary tests with just cause, the doctor refused to provide her with any medical attention and forced her to sign an agreement saying that she was refusing medical advice. She tried to explain she didn't need tests like the pregnancy test due to pre-existing medical reasons, but the doctor refused to listen to her.Desired Settlement: My credit card was charged $150.00 so she could see the doctor. I want my money refunded.

If patients think that they were not properly treated, they can get second opinion from another provider. Thank you [redacted] , MD. Medical Director
