When my physician tried to interest me in his new MDVIP practice I did some research It is totally unnecessary to incur this expense in the Boston area to receive top notch comprehensive and preventive care I was accepted as a new patient by an established major Boston hospital-based physician with superlative credentials He is a full professor at Harvard Medical School and lectures and publishes regularly on current updates in primary care medicine His practice has the most organized and excellent admin and support staff and all my visit notes, labs, reports, etcare immediately available to me on-line My previous doctor had none of these benefits On another note, my year old mother is paying the annual fee because her physician went to the MDVIP program and she was "used to" her doctor whom she sees only for episodic care such as a lingering cough She went recently to get a flu shot and was told they were all out and to go to a drug store flu clinic! This from a program that claims to be the leader in preventive care! Also, the number of executive positions and salaries of MDVIP corporate officials (in Boca Raton Florida!) is staggering Save your $ annual fee and get as good or better care from an established physician in your area
