I have purchased a set of spacers for my JD1025R Dooley’s.
After 10-12 hours of operation two of the 4 nuts of rear right hand side became undone and the outside wheel damaged the bolts, the first wheel and cause the rim guard to flow out of tire.
The nuts were torqued at recommended torque by JD for this specific tractor.
The tractor was hauled and fixed at a local JD dealership for the total cost of $1,226.07.
The dealership determined that the root cause of this event was the wrong type nuts. Regular nuts and washers. The dealership recommended and installed nylon insert lock nuts.
I have explained to one of the owners what happened but they didn’t want to stay behind their product. No warranty either. They however offered $250.00 credit.
The tractor is used very seldom on straight roads very slowly. No sharp turns at high speed, no Rimguard used for Dooley’s.
So, I’m stuck with a $1,266.07 bill because an eventual flowed design.

I needed a wheel for my riding mower. I was amazed that [redacted] tire would spend the time and several calls needed to verify the correct parts. Not only did she spend the extra effort, she also found a less expensive option for me. I wish more business would be so service friendly.
