Hey, I'm a tennant living in a property managed by this company and despite repeated requests for repairs I have been largely ignored
Standing water in my basement, bathroom doors with no handles, an electrical switch that shocks, compromised security door, and no way to speak to an actual person without dropping into the office
This is a highly disappointing experienceIf something isn't done soon I will definitely be telling all of my friends and clients that this business is of poor quality

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Due to the living conditions of the building, the many failed attempts to rectify the problems, and the company's failure to adhere to it's contractual parts of the lease, I am no longer willing to live in such conditions and would like to terminate my lease, as was discussed and determined with Ryan T[redacted] in August (with the required given notice), without the additional penalties or monetary exchanges that are now trying to be added to the agreement.Speaking with the property manager, Ryan T[redacted] as suggested by the representative Elizabeth W[redacted], will not serve to resolve the issue nor solve the problem as this attempt has been made on several different occasions; therefore, this is not an acceptable nor satisfactory response to the filed complaint.
Regards,
[redacted]

I live in the Roseline apartment downtown that used to be managed by another company and no one ever moved out. It's a perfect location and a historic old building that had been updated. Since Barratt Asset Management took over, half of the units are empty. There are 12 identical one-bedroom units. The newer residents started talking to existing residents and learned Barratt was trying to charge them up to $500 monthly more for the exact same apartment. The team doesn't respond to maintenance emergencies in a timely manner. Someone kept breaking into the back door and despite calling them 3 times, the window on the door to the alley was left broken for 4 days in the winter which is a HUGE safety issue... Not to mention my husband and I had to clean up the broken glass and cover the hole with plastic to keep out the wind. This has happened on multiple occasions to this old door and instead of solving the problem, they told me they thought it was a resident so they replaced the plane with PLASTIC. They are now working on the apartments upstairs. I work from home a few days a week, and they turn off the electricity and water frequently without notice leaving me without Internet, power, or water. I've had to use my personal data for work because they don't give notice for outages. The maintenance crew opens all the windows to smoke inside (in the middle of winter when the residents pay to heat the building.) One day I was home when they were working and dry wall started falling from the ceiling onto my head. When I called the manager upset he brushed off my concerns. I cleaned up the dry wall and they have yet to come fix the cracks made in the ceiling in 2 spots. When I let management know about emergencies or concerns they either don't answer or disregard me entirely. I love this area and apartment but can't imagine dealing with this company for another year so my husband and I are moving out... Just like everyone else in our building.
