The short story is that the complainant is correct that the ad was misleading and that we modified it within hours of his contacting us about itI would appreciate it if your online information would indicate that we resolved the problem exactly as requested as soon as we received the complaintThe details are as follows We've been running the same pair of ads on Craigslist for years, one for a 1BR and one for a 2BR After describing the apartment in one paragraph each ad goes on to give general information about the property (laundry facilities on site, cable/internet ready, etc.) Included in this general information was the phrase "Semester rates for students." Although this is true about the property, it's not true about the 1BR apartments, since the semester rate is only offered for 2BRs No one has ever been misled by this before, again, over years of our running the ads, but when it was pointed out to us that someone might be misled, we agreed and immediately changed the ad
