We very much appreciate Mr [redacted] bringing this matter to our attention When Mr [redacted] spoke with MaryLyn D***, the manager of Meadow Wood Apartments to express his concerns on June 4, MaryLyn took immediate action and resolved the issue on June 5, We understand that at the time of move-out, the utility billing can be very confusing As an example, on April 1st the water and sewer bill that Mr [redacted] paid was in fact for the usage period of 1/7/15-2/6/ On May 1st the water and sewer bill that Mr [redacted] paid was for usage for the period of 2/7/15-3/6/ As Mr [redacted] vacated on May 23rd, he would have been responsible for the water and sewer usage from 3/7/115-5/23/and that is why the final utility bill totaled $ In addition, there is no dispute that Mr [redacted] was charged for a standard cleaning of the apartment in the amount of $As we are a reputable management company and Mr [redacted] was not informed that he would incur the final utility bill and the cleaning fee, a refund check was issued on June 5, in the amount of $to Mr [redacted] We are certain that this issue has been rectified to the satisfaction of all parties concerned Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at [redacted] extension ***.Lisa S*District Property Manager [redacted]

First, I apologize for the delayed response.  This complaint from a past [redacted]resident was sent to [redacted] and consequently has required extratime to find its way to the right party.  Mr. S[redacted] who has all of the first-hand knowledge and is mentioned in the...

complaint is out of the office until September 25th.However, an alleged complaint marring Summit’s reputation for exemplary customer service has caused me to investigate the circumstances and find immediate resolve.I found that the resident did in fact break her lease six months early and is legally required per the rental agreement to pay a leasebreak fee. I am perplexed as to why she chose to break the lease after her dishwasher was fixed.  In addition, why didn’t the resident contact our corporate office or the Revdex.com at the time of the alleged infraction, which by the way is not considered an essential service. Regardless of the sequence of events, it is unfortunate that we have an unhappy past resident. We are more than willing to take the highroad and have already completed steps toward resolution. We have contacted the landlord who received a negative reference and made it very clear that the balance owing is zero. We have revised the move out accounting form which will be mailed today with a check.
