Prior to receiving your letter dated, May 4, 2016, I had spoken to [redacted] and offered to give him 100% trade value to the vehicle he purchased if he wished to trade his vehicle for an equal, lesser or more expensive vehicle. [redacted] accepted my offer and traded in his 2016 VW GTI for a 2016 VW Golf R ($11,000 greater in price). He was given a trade credit of $29,999, which was the price he paid, plus [redacted] waived the dealer doc fee and transferred the Wheel & Tire product he purchased on the GTI to the Golf R.
