A full furniture set (bed, toy chest, dresser) was ordered and delivered. Strong paint fumes exuded from the furniture was unbearable and caused harm to child and mother. Two of the pieces were picked up and a re-delivery attempt was made. The redelivery was supposed to be of aired-out/modified pieces. Instead, Land of Nod attempted to redeliver still fume-exuding pieces. Dresser was not accepted by the family and the Land of Nod delivery people took it back. Land of Nod delivery people actually urged the family not to accept the pieces due to the still strong paint smell. This process involved the loss of wages (3 days) for the mother and several trips to the doctor for the child, not to mention countless useless phone calls with Land of Nod representatives that offered no clear resolution. It is unclear why the Land of Nod is supplying such low quality, health-endangering items for children's rooms.
