On 10/31/I submitted a complaint via email to Terry Sowell Roofing The next day I received a phone call from Mrs [redacted] , I was told they could and would do nothing After calming down, I have decided to follow Mrs [redacted] 's direct advice I will not recommend Terry Sowell Roofing any longer and feel others should be made aware of his lack of providing knowledgeable advice and installing what he writes Per Mrs [redacted] , Sowell roofing has been in business for years and they only follow codes and prepare a wind mitigation form as a courtesy to their customers She also told me he always marks section - C of the wind mitigation form (roof deck attachment)However, that is not what he installs My husband and I do not know codes, we do not install roofs, and expected an experienced roofer to give us knowledgeable and proper advice We thought our roof was installed as written on the wind mitigation form we received from Sowell Roofing It was not! We had to have another form completed for insurance, due to a change in the government form, only to find out the roof was not installed as was written by Sowell Roofing Had we been advised properly by a truly experienced roofer, we would have gladly paid the additional $it might have cost to have more and a different size nail used when the roof deck was attached With years left on a year roof, an increase of $a year in insurance is quite costly, for a pencil whipped form from a supposedly experienced roofer Mrs [redacted] 's final comment to me was that she would suggest that Terry [redacted] no longer prepare the wind mitigation form for his customers I suggest he advise his customers better before he does a roof!

Honestly money talks...and you get what you pay forMight be a few bucks cheaper than the competition, but I'd rather know WHEN work will be completed without a random day of some chimney smoker showing up on my doorstep leaving cigarette butts all over my yard
The installation was good, showed up on time, quick installation, and fairly good clean-upThey did not cover the eves properly, left exposed wood and did not seal vents properlySo after years and the rain this year, the issues showed themselvesLeaks starred and mold surfacedI initially office personnel were very nice and accommodating....then the excuses and no show promises for repair came...after weeks of excuses I asked to speak with Mr ***....Wow!! Started off ok...Then the cursing and yelling, We are not fixing anything, sue us if you want, tell your story no one will listen, and then hung up
Becareful, cheaper...but NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and FORGET YOUR WARRANTY...if your roof leaks and causes other damageswhich always happens (that's how you find the leaks).BE READY TO PAY FOR IT YOURSELF!! Terry Sowell roofing's warranty is not worth the paper it's written on....GOOD LUCK
