Today I received a letter which stated that my response to the above listed complaint had not been receivedMy first response, included herein, was faxed on December 1st and a confirmation of transmittal was receivedI am writing today to offer additional information as I believe that I have since
identified the letter to which the complainant is referringThis letter was not from CMA but from her Homeowners’ AssociationThe complainant was sent a certified letter signed by her Homeowner Association Board of Directors, not CMAThe complainant contacted CMA in September, 2017, regarding an insurance claim to the community’s Master Insurance policy after the owner deductibles had been established by the HOA The complainant requested, “copies of any and all documents, emails, letters, spreadsheets, notes, calculations used and compiled to determine the loss to the community and to our home along with formulas used and detailed explanations of calculations used to determine deductible amounts requested from homeowners you have regarding the May 19, loss“ I informed the complainant, in writing, that, “I (CMA) do not hold the information that you are requestingCMA was not involved in (insurance) claim administration or managementPlease communicate with the Board to request this information.” This correspondence is attached I would again encourage the complainant to reach out to her Board of Directors with questions about the Association’s insurance claim and relative deductibles.

I am rejecting this response because:
Attached is the bill I received from CMA for $605.63. I still have no explanation as requested in my original complaint. I have questioned the Board of Directors and *** Insurance, and was denied any explanation by both.As I stated in my original complaint, any legitimate business that is billing me for anything should be able to give me a detailed account of how the charge was calculated, thereby giving me an opportunity to evaluate the charge for accuracy. I want a detailed account substantiating this amount, with formulas and calculations used, for my review. I expect all questions I have regarding this amount to be answered to my satisfaction
