Meadville Medical Center

Recently had to go to the emergency room. Could not hardley breathe when I got there and they offered no assistance. They were also very rude, especially the phlebotomist. I refused the covid test due to political beliefs and they were even ruder. offered to send me to a room where there were covid patients. like they wanted me to get it. then refused next day at a new doctor because they contacted them and told them I refused the covid test. then billed me for 2 procedures I did not have. I hate mmc. a bunch of theives!@!

Paid bill, but turned over to collection. Repeated calls, bordering on harassment. Medical testing was questionable as technician could not tell right from left. Will never go back there. I tried to speak to representatives at the hospital but they are too arrogant to listen to their patients. Very condescending, spoke to me like I was a child.

Review: I had a procedure done at [redacted] in Meadville PA. Meadville Medical Center sent me the bill for the procedure. When I called and questioned why they would bill me for it, they could not give me a straight answer. I asked if they had bought out NPA, or had an agreement for doing their billing, and they denied both. Also, they told me that I HAD to pay $25 a month, even though I offered less. I believe that is illegal. I also cannot believe that such a big corporation like MMC never forgives any part of any bill.Desired Settlement: I would like to know what is going on. Why a procedure done at another facility is being billed by MMC, and if they can require a certain amount to be paid each month? I know I have to pay on the bill, but it needs to be paid to the right organization.
