Revdex.com:This was what happened since 9/**/They charged my account before the agreed upon *** of each month which I have in writingWhen I showed them the email, all they had to say was "whoops, we should have never agreed to that in writing." Then on 9/**/we had agreed my account would be put on hold and no further charges to my account would be made until: They refunded me for charging my account earlier than the agreed upon *** of each monthWe had agreed upon new terms for them to charge my accountOn 9/**/they again took money out of my account, unauthorizedAfter several emails back and forth for something they should have resolved on day we finally came to a resolutionAgain they should have presented this resolution on day 1, but for now this issue is resolved.I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved

We apologize for the experience that this customer had while trying to get in touch with our customer experience team, as we did not intend to ignore the customer requestsThe MealPal team experienced a temporary error through our in app emailing system, which as a result, our customer experience
team did not receive some email inquiriesThe customer would have been told when to expect the gift cards he was inquiring about (gift cards are sent at least days after purchasing a MealPal plan)The MealPal customer experience team strives to respond to all customer inquiries in less than an hour of receiptSince receiving this complaint, the MealPal customer experience team has been in touch with the customer to resolve the issue and answer any remaining questions the customer had regarding their MealPal purchase

We're so sorry to hear that this user experienced trouble! That's not the level of service we hold ourselves to. Unfortunately this customer did not use any of their available meals on the platform. We checked all of our internal systems and it appears that we never received any communication (via...

email or phone) that this customer would like to cancel or would like to be refunded. To quickly remedy this situation, we've gone ahead and proactively refunded the customer's full payment.

We're so sorry to hear that this user ([redacted]) experienced trouble! That's not the level of service we hold ourselves to. [redacted] became a MealPal user on July [redacted] 2016 (a long time user!). Upon signing up, [redacted] agreed to our terms of service, which state that cycles are set on a...

30-day period, not a monthly period. With that, charges can come through slightly before the same day of the month you had signed up. For example, [redacted] listed that they were expecting a charge on the [redacted] of every month, but in fact, we simply place the charge 30 days after the start of each cycle. A cycle refers to your 30 day subscription.The terms of service can be found here - [redacted] - and the section in review is Section 3.a.1.The most recent charge of $130.31 is for a cycle beginning on 09/**/17. Despite this charge being correct, we actually reversed the charge for the user [redacted] on 9/**, and reapplied the charge on 9/**/2017, the day before the new cycle started. This refund was done out of good faith. Unfortunately, we cannot also honor the $50 overdraft fee the user incurred from their bank, nor can we honor the $6.52 charge the user listed out mentioning that we had stolen money for them. The account is active, and available for use. If [redacted] would like us to extend the time they have to use the available meals, they can write in to[redacted], and we are always happy to extend their current cycle.
