I had my carpets cleaned by the mean green carpet clean company last week. August 18, 2016 and couldn't have been more disappointed in the service, the job done, and the price. When I set up the appointment I was told a price of $179 for three areas. If I wanted additional services it was going to cost anywhere from $30 to $50 extra depending on what the add on was. When the two technicians came out I was quoted a price of $323 for really two areas and a smaller area of the third room. Then when I requested the $50 extra pet stain removal, he told me it was going to be $50 per stain. WHAT ? These guys wanted close to $600 for a job I could ultimately do with a glorified rug Doctor. The machine they used was not powered by a truck rather plugged in. They used my sink and hot water (that I can certainly say wasn't hot enough to sanitize anything!) to fill the containers to clean my floors. It was a joke. End result a waste of money and carpets that really looked and smelled dirtier then when they started. I honestly don't know how this company can look at its customers in the eye and charge so much and say ok we are all finished leaving carpets looking the way they did. If I could add photos to this review I would. Bottom line these guys are a huge waste of money! I'm extremely unhappy and feel like I was taken advantage of.
