Re: Revdex.com of Northern Indiana - Case [redacted]
I would like to...
acknowledge that neither Village Contractors, or [redacted] have ownership in [redacted] Section [redacted] He has however acted as a manager in some circumstances, and Village Contractors is one the building companies that have built homes in the subdivision.
[redacted] Section [redacted] is owned by [redacted] LLC and I'm the acting representative for the company. This fact may have created some confusion as to who needed to address this problem, as I do not go into the office on a daily basis and sometimes I'm not available. I met with Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 and agreed to use the same company to remove the second tree because that company had quoted both trees to Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] and knew the circumstances that no heavy equipment can be used. [redacted] asked about splitting the cost on the first tree, which I may not have responded to at that time; however I talked to my attorney that same day and he suggested that splitting the cost would be fair; I had every intention of doing so. I thought we had a pretty good meeting and was totally surprised when I received the complaint from the Revdex.com of Northern Indiana the following week, until I figured out that she had filed the complaint the day before we met.
I had a hard time getting a response from the tree removal company that Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] had used for the first tree, and finally I was able to talk to their estimator, on Thursday August 25, 2016, at which time I told him to schedule the second tree removal as soon as possible, and they are going to try to do it the week of August 29, 2016. I met with Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] Sunday, August 28, 2016 and we discussed everything, and I told them that I would bring them a check on Monday, August 29, 2016 for half of the first tree that was removed. We all agreed that would be satisfactory.
Respectfully,
[redacted], Sr.

My husband and I met with Mr. [redacted], Sr. on
August 28th as he indicated in his response. On August 29
[redacted] Tree Service did, in fact, remove tree #2, which was
located on lot ** of [redacted] owned by [redacted]
LLC. As the tree was being removed, Mr. [redacted], Sr.
arrived with a check to compensate us for his portion of the
removal of tree #1.
Once Mr. [redacted], Sr. of [redacted] became aware of our concerns through his son, [redacted], Jr, (aka [redacted])
President of Village Contractors, he handled the problem
professionally and within a reasonable period of time.
We were appreciative of the way Mr. [redacted], Sr. handled
the matter.
Our desired resolution was achieved.
