I've had a Visa credit card with Advia for yearsJust recently, I received a replacement card in the mailI cut up my old card and activated this new one per the instructionsThen I tried to use it and it was declinedBrand new card - never usedI call the credit union and I'm told the card is "frozen." I asked, "do I owe money?" Answer, "no." My next question, "why would Advia send me a credit card, allow me to activate it, then freeze it?" Her answer, "it was frozen already when it was sent to you."
Stunned silence"OK, so unfreeze it," I said
"No, you'll have to apply for another card."
WHAT? I have had a credit card with Advia for yearsTheir website is always down, rarely worksI wouldn't waste a penny or two seconds trying to deal with this institution of chaos and ridiculousness
