Medford B M W Reviews (1)
Review: On 01/15/2015 I took my car into the BMW in Medford for an oil change and to replace a missing embylm. As soon as we entered, a salesman approached us and said he saw us pull in and he wants my car. In fact, he told me "I will do whatever it takes to get your car". While we waited for our car to get serviced, the salesman talked us into test driving a $60,000 SUV. He even tried to write up a deal as an effort to get us to trade in our vehicle. When we refused the deal, he left and spoke to the service department, and then moments later came back to us and said they are ready for us. They then told us that we needed $9000 of work to be done on my vehicle, and NEVER did perform the services we originally brought the vehicle in for. The salesman then proceeded to try to talk us into trading it in, that way we would not have to pay $9000 to get it fixed. We refused and we left- without them ever actually performing the oil change or replacing the emblym for which we asked them to do. When we started the car, EVERY light in the car came on and the car began to stall. We barely made it home, as the car now does not run at all. There was NOTHING wrong with our car before we took it there for service. We feel this is a scam- and they are just trying to get us to buy a $60,000 vehicle by turning our vehicle into a mechanical nightmare. The salesman continues to leave us voicemails. We have contacted BMW several times and filed a complaint but they will not return our phone calls or emails, or facebook messages.Desired Settlement: I want my car fixed for FREE- and whatever they did to cause all of the lights to come on and not run correctly- they need to fix free of charge. The BMW's can go haywire like this- if a mechanic just changes one little setting....such as altitude. They did something, and we want it fixed.
