The staff here at Medi-Healthcare are very rude and obnoxiousFrom the moment I walked into the store I was treated as if they didn't want to be bothered taking care of meI had an order from my doctor for a wheelchair, they were supposed to call my insurance company an verify coverageDays later I called them and was told that my insurance company denied my claim for a purchaseI then called my insurance company and was told Medi-Healthcare never called to verify anything
These folks were quite pleasant and helpful when I had to rent a 5L portable oxygen tank for my husband for a car trip.I did have to go back once as the charger they gave me did not work, but they gave me a new one. After three hours into our trip, the new car charger light which operates the machine in the car turned off and the Freestyle 5 machine used its own battery, which only lasted for 45 minutes. Luckily we had rented an extra battery which took us another 45 minutes. Then we had to switch between our portable tanks, our smaller portable and this machine when it intermittently worked. Hair-raising at highway speeds! Anyway, we were able to make it to Ohio. I had my car checked, and there was nothing wrong with the electrical output .However, we couldn't risk going back with the same machine so I called about shipping it, and to let them know what happened. NO OFFER OF HELP WITH THE SHIPPING (COST ME OVER A HUNDRED DOLLARS AS THEY SAID TO COVER IT I WOULD HAVE TO INSURE IT FOR THE RETAIL, NOT WHOLESALE PRICE). NO OFFER OF REBATE OR PARTIAL REBATE ON THE RENTAL PRICE. But they did say they were sorry.
