Review: On August 11 I prepaid for 16 sessions of Medi_weight Loss Services, valid through 12/30/15. I went to Medi Weight loss, Midlothian office, on 12/2/16 and was told that I could only continue if I paid 4x the amount, effective immediately at $250/session. When I refused I was escorted to the door. I contacted the manager who reimbursed me $210 on 12/17;however, I feel a full refund of the entire contract is required. Medi Weight Loss did not provide prior written notice of the change in price, did not live up to the contract they entered when they accepted my 16 week prepayment, performed bait-and-switch by collecting money then trying to extort more before contract end date and morally offended me by showing me to the door at Christmas.Desired Settlement: I prepaid a full amount of $912 in August and expected that they would complete the program I paid for and I had met the requirements/expectations on my end. A partial reimbursement is unacceptable as they failed to meet their obligations as a service provider. Any changes to the program should have been clearly and adequately provided in writing prior to my session on 12/2/16. Failure to reimburse fully will result in further action on my part.
