Review: On May 22nd a company by the name of The Appliance Repairmen sent a service technician by the name of [redacted] to my home to fix my refrigerator. The technician stated that the defrost control was shorted out and charged me $412.34 to replace the part. A couple of days later after the alleged repair, my refrigerator was not cooling again. I contacted the company to have them come back. The person who answered the phone, [redacted] told me he would call me back to schedule. I never received a call back despite my numerous attempts to reach someone. I have attempted to obtain a full refund from this company but Noone can tell me where their customer service is located or who this person was that was sent to my home. So far, I have been given several phone numbers to call to resolve but noone answers or returns my calls. My concern is that this company is fraudulent and is sending strangers into people's homes to steal from them. If that is not the case then I would like to have 100% of my money refunded to me.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my full $412.34 refunded as it was necessary for me to contact another company to accurately troubleshoot and fix my refrigerator

Review: I scheduled an appointment to have a qualified technician come to my home to diagnose a problem with my refrigerator. The appointment time was set for 11/12/2013, between 8 -10am. At 10 am I called to ask where the technician was and was told that they will call me right back. About a half an hour later I called again. They told me that they were having an issue finding the technician, and they would call me back in 15 minutes. Again a half an hour later I called and this time was told that the technician had a car accident but would be there soon. An hour later I called again, they were going to try and find him, they didn't know why he wasn't there yet. 10 minutes later I received a call saying that was all a lie, they just forgot me on the schedule, but they would get someone there within a half an hour. At 1pm the technician finally showed up. The first thing that he said was "these Samsung refrigerators are like speaking French to me, I don't know anything about them." He never took out a tool. Never moved anything in the refrigerator, and then within 3 minutes he told me that it would cost about $800 to fix. He also told me that in his opinion my 4 year old refrigerator wasn't worth it. He informed me that his company would probably fire him if they knew that he said that. I told him no thank you, that I didn't want his company to repair my refrigerator. I also told him that I would be calling his company to ask for a refund. After he left I tried numerous times to speak with this company. I have spoken with 3 or 4 different people and one is more rude than the next.Desired Settlement: I paid $50 for a qualified technician to come to my home between 8 and 10am. They lied about where the technician was. They lied about the technician having a car accident. They never returned calls. Most of all I am upset that the technician said that he didn't know anything about my refrigerator and then without looking at it quoted me a price. I paid for a QUALIFIED technician, and I didn't receive one. Therefore I would like my $50 refunded.
