I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
It is easy for MBONT to lie because they made mistakes in coding the billing to BCBS. All it took was a call to BCBS to fix the issue. I never made payment, BCBS did.I called every time I received a bill from MBONT and was told by their agent/staff that I was to ignore the bill because they were working with BCBS. They should have these conversations and dates documented in my case file.Again, there was nothing I could do and the responsibility was on MBONT to correct their billing error with BCBS.

Revdex.comMESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:The claim was originally filed with a diagnosis code provided by his facility provider. That code was changed per the surgeon/facility corrected information andre-filed which then resulted in BCBS applying his deductible. None of the claim payment had anything to do with his help or lack of.I spoke to [redacted] yesterday who informed me before hanging up on me that he never got a bill from us at all. I verified his address. But in his second letter he states he called here every time he got bill. Hmmm.In the courts of Texas, when no mail has been returned it is assumed received by the addressed person(s). We never got any return mail for his address. He also received notice from BCBS before we did that his deductible had been applied. He made no effort to pay his responsibilities after multiple duns; until he was placed for collections.I reiterate that this patient had no plans to pay this bill had I not turned him over to for collections purposes. This is called theft of services when it applies. He is right about one thing, he never made payment, BCBS did.We followed all billing procedures to resolve his balance. Ultimately this balancepaid or not is the responsibility of the patient that received the services.
