Thanks for giving us the chance to explain our side of the story and I'm sorry Mrs. * didn't take the effort...
to contact you to say her ID was returned the following morning. What happened was the patient's ID was placed in a prescription processing basket and was not located until after the patient had left the pharmacy. At no time did the ID card leave the pharmacy and we reiterated that to Mrs. [redacted] and apologized for the inconvenience and for any anxiety that was caused. We take protecting patient information as a priority and have made procedural changes to prevent such an event from happening again.
Mrs. * had every reason to be concerned when her ID cards initially went missing but all I can say is there was no security breach of her family's information and we sincerely apologize and wish she would give us another chance to prove ourselves.

Review: The pharmacy staff lost my military ID and my son's health insurance card. I see this as being very negligent of important patient information. I was waiting in the office for about 10 minutes, and they seem to have "misplaced it".Desired Settlement: there is no settlement to have. I just need my id... it has mine and my husbands social security numbers on there. Worried about id theft.
