March 29, 2018I understand the complainant's frustration with getting two billsFor all imaging that is here is a bill from the hospital for the technical portion of the scan and also a bill from the Radiologist that provides the Professional Interpretation of the scanMedical Imaging of Lehigh Valley, PC (MILV) is a private group practice that employs the Radiologist that provided the Professional Interpretation of the scan that was performed at an [redacted] hospital facilityThe Radiologists from are not owned or employed by Lehigh Valley Health Network.two separate and distinct entitiesThere should be a notice in the facility that would have indicated the patient would also receive a bill from the Radiology group.As the complainant has suggested we are willing to negotiate a settlement of $to resolve the misunderstandingThe payment should be mailed to our office within days.Sincerely,James *F Director of Business Operations
