We never want to have a unhappy customer, and we do apologize for not being able to make you Completely satisfied with our offer to repair your vehicle. We only performed the suggested repair for the gas tank sensor that supposed to be the problem. It turned out that it much than just the sensor. We would never do a repair on anything that didn't need it or we would never try any up sale tactics such as Bait and Switch as you stated. If anything changes and you want to change you mind on our offer, it will stand for 90 days. RegardsManagement Northside Imports

to our service department. I have spoken to all parties involved with your Fuel tank issue and we did get some customer assistance for your repair and the total repair would only be 450.00 for your part. Since you are a customer of Northside Fiat we get a few favors to help in repairs. Please let me know what our next move is from here. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
They charged me for a repair that did not repair the car. I requested a refund. They never provided it. They just keep wanting to sell me more parts, first starting at $1200 and now it's $450. This is classic bait and switch. They said my car was repaired and I paid in full. I drive it two blocks and the same issue - can't put gas in the tank - happens. They never checked their repair to ensure it was complete. They said it was the SIM - a part connected to the fuel tank - and charged me for that and labor. That part did not fix the issue and they again, never checked or they knew it did not fix the issue and instead thought I would fall for a more expensive repair. This is classic bait and switch. It's X, but no, it's not X, it's Y and why is six times more expensive to repair. And when the consumer balks, they keep reducing the price. I am NOT going to EVER take my car to a dealership that fails to check it's work, then holds my car hostage until I have to threaten them with the police. And all they can keep saying is 'oh, but we discounted' the price, never refunded you the money for what we did not fix, and we want your business. Good thing it wasn't my brakes. This company is know for baiting and switching. Other people have complained about similar tactics. I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE THEM MORE MONEY when they failed to refund the cost of the repair that did not repair the car.
Regards,
