Unfortunately the initial letter of complain had been sent to an incorrect email address resulting in MN Weight Control/Medifast not receiving the first email, we are now responding right away to the second notice.We have many satisfied clients at Medifast who
have successfully lost and maintained their weight loss; and we are saddened to hear that someone wouldn't be please with the programMs *** herself while not on the program very long had significant results in a short timeWe do customize our program to each individual therefore we are also able to find a solution for someone who cannot for any reason participate in any part of our program.We welcome communication and are always seeking to find solutions if a client is struggling. On January 19th Ms *** joined the Medifast program after a thorough and customized consultation where she would have been introduced in detail to the Medifast program including the Medifast Meal replacements as the foundation of the Medifast programWe have all of our new clients initial off in several areas that they understand that they will be using the Medifast Meal replacements as a part of their program We offer a day right to cancel the program, however she did not inform anyone in the center for several weeks after joining the program of her desire to cancel her programOn February 2nd, she spoke with a Consultant in the center of her desire to cancel her program; this request was passed on to the Center DirectorOn February 4th, she spoke with the Director who let her know that she was outside of the cancellation period, but she would speak with her Supervisor about making some type of exceptionMs *** expressed to the Director that she understood that she was outside of the cancellation period and that she would be happy with even a partial refund The Center Director was approved to provide her with a partial refund of half of her program cost as an exception and left voice mails for Marcy on February 10, 14th and 21st, however none of these messages were returnedOn February 22nd, the Center Director spoke with Ms *** to let her know of the offer to provide half of her cost back and Ms *** seemed to accept the offerThe paperwork needed to process a cancellation request was sent to Ms *** the same day of February 22ndThe Center Director followed up on March 2nd and March 6th when the paperwork had not still not been returned to the centerTo date the center has not heard back from Ms *** to discuss
