Review: Company sends only 1 bill expecting you to remember to pay if you are making pmts Then call you & treats you like you are a deadbeat.

I was in the ER on 9/11 in Tracy. I received a statement dated 10/11 for $35.38 on Oct 20th. I called and advised I was on a fixed income and could only pay $10.00 a month considering the other ER bills I received. I made a $ 10.00 payment on Nov 1st. On Dec 17th I received a call that my account was over 90 days old. I advised the rep that I ALWAYS pay my bills but I have not receive another bill since I made the previous payment. She requested my credit card information and when I advised that not only do I NOT give my credit card information to anyone who calls me over the phone, I do not pay anyone with out a bill showing the balance I owe.

The rep told me they only send ONE bill and it is up to me to make copies of the bill as a reminder to pay it (in 50 years I have never heard of such a thing!) or I could pull over (I was driving)and get my credit card ready to make a payment in full.

If this company is going to only provide one bill they should let people know that that is their policy. By providing me with one statement how am I to know that my previous payment was received and applied correctly to my account? Asking me to give my credit card information over the phone while I am driving it a little over the top and treating me like I am a dead beat when I ask to have a monthly bill sent to me, ESPECIALLY when you are charging me 1.5% interest per month since I can not pay it in full is unconscionable.Desired Settlement: I want to pay my bill. Send me a monthly bill so I can pay my bill! If I wasn't on a fixed income I would pay it in full but I am so I can't! Stop treating people on a fixed income like deadbeats! I have excellent credit if you sent me monthly bills, even if you had to charge interest, it would most likely be paid off by now! I can't be the only one to have an issue with you "one courtesy statement" practice.

The company contacted me and advised that although it is generally their policy to sent only one statement if a partial payment is sent monthly statements are supposed to be turned on. It is NOT their policy to not sent statements, but that it was the poor judgement on the part of the two employees I spoke with and poor collection practices to not switch statements on so I would get statements. The statements have been turned on and I am satisfied with at this juncture with the resolution
