My husband and I had a checking account with Granite State Credit Union that was closed a few years agoWe had a negative balance that was recently paid in fullIn addition, I held a joint savings account with my son that contained several thousand dollars in itGranite State Credit Union decided to close this account without any real noticeNo phone callsI went into the bank today to be told my account was closedI was told I could not access my funds and that a check was mailed out to meThe check was made out to my son as wellI could not get to our fundsAlicia [redacted] accused me of stealing funds from my son due to this account that we held togetherShe also told me that I never settled my delinquent account when in fact I paid it in fullThey have been reporting it to the credit bureau as unpaid and still areI was upset when I went to the bankWhen I talked to Alicia after I got home, she told me that she called me several times, to advise me of this, which was untrueAccused me of stealing, ectShe was rude and obnoxiousShe was unwilling to supply me with a receipt to report to the credit bureau that the account was paid in fullShe told me I could no longer be a customer of the Union, refused to give me a real name of her supervisor and extensionWhen I tried to call for her and her supervisor, the name and contact information was non existentI was advised that I could no longer do business with them, among the many other things that I could no longer be a part ofI was told that the funds from this account was mailed and I could get it anytimeMy funds were gone, and I no longer had an account that she told me that I owed all of it to my sonFrom being lied to, discriminated against, and not being allowed to access my own money or proof that I no longer had a debt with them, I am upsetMy credit is being ruined by their inaccurate reports, I am not allowed to access any supervisor's real name or contact information, and I am being called a liarWouldn't you be a bit upset? I was advised no longer to call thereI was told I couldn't do business with them nor call anyonebut yet...She has left me voice messages This is a very strange and bizarre gameThey didn't want us as customers and found a way to delete our account so that we can't access our money or do any business with them further Maybe nothing significant to you, but to me, I find it extremely upsetting to say the least [redacted] ***
