[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Meenan Oil has retaliated to my complaint by cancelling my service and oil delivery contract--this has left me without service or sheduled oil delivery Moreover, Meenan's dishonest practices continues: despite claiming that it has refunded my service contract payment, Meenan has not done so In fact, in a call to Meenan on this issue this week, I learned from the General Manager that Meenan had not requested that refund payment be issued to me I have neither the service nor the paymentWhy? Because Meenan believes that it need not fulfill its service contracts in the City of [redacted] if parking is not readily available Meenan markets itself and seeks business inside the City of [redacted] , yet purports to be unable to operate as required under its contract when needed I also received an item of correspondence from the General Manager earlier this month, suggesting that I had cancelld my contract with Meenan (not that Meenan had unilaterally done so), and asking me to contact the General Manager to discuss why I "left" as a customer This letter is a fairly transparent effort by Meenan to avoid responsibility for having retaliated in this manner All in all, I am glad to be done with Meenan going forward Leaving me in the lurch with respect to heat during a very cold winter was, however, reprehensible Regards, [redacted]

Hello and thank you for reaching out to us Our response to the customer is the same as when we were asked to respond to the Office of the Attorney General regarding the same matter That response is attached below [redacted] Hello and I hope you are well I have received your letter and as requested, we will close your account with Meenan immediately On 1/3/of this year you established an account with Meenan where you agreed to go on automatic delivery for home heating oil at a variable pricing rate In addition you elected to pay for a Silver Service Agreement The Silver Service Agreement would be good for a period of one year, or when you ended automatic deliveries of heating oil, whichever event should come first Since the foundation of your account, you received the following charges: 1/4/ gallons $ 1/16/ Silver Service Agreement $ 2/1/ gallons $ 3/4/ gallons $ 3/28/gallons $ We have double checked our delivery tickets for you and can confirm that the deliveries above were made As of today, you have a remaining outstanding balance of $for the charges specified above We ask that you pay this amount immediately We wish you good fortune and thank you for being a customer

Thank you for reaching out to us In regards to this account, our records indicate the following: Mr [redacted] had a burner tuscheduled for 8/12/ When the Meenan service tech arrived no one was homeMr [redacted] was called and there was no response The service technician waited a few minutes then tagged the door to contact Meenan and went onto his next job Mr [redacted] called Meenan back on 9/9/where Meenan scheduled him another tudate of 12/15/ Mr [redacted] called in in October of and stated he was not able to get through to schedule service (which he had already in September) Meenan asked Mr [redacted] to specify what phone number he called, who he spoke with, and what issues he was havingMr [redacted] refused to answer these questionsMr [redacted] then requested his account be closedMeenan advised Mr [redacted] that if he closed his account and ended his one year protected price plan prior to its completion, then he would be charged an early termination feeMrMrogan still wanted the account closed Meenan would ask that Mr [redacted] pay his outstanding balance as soon as he can and wishes him well moving forward

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This response from the business is FALSE1) It was not an "electrical burn" This was an electrical surge that back flashed through my entire home surging and destroying various products throughout the home2) The statement that our wiring was "not to code" as a reason for the electrical surge/burn is FALSE The reason the electrical surge happened was because their technician did not follow BASIC HVAC code by checking that the wire connected to the heater was no longer "live" As stated in our original complaints verbally to meenan, in writing to meenan, and in writing to Revdex.com, this is why we are seeking damages for their careless installation My husband HEARD the technician tell a third technician on the scene that the reason this happened was because "HE DIDN'T CHECK THE WIRE" 3) The company's statement that they told us to contact our homeowners b/c it was the faulty wiring in the home's fault is FALSE They actually told us "go to your homeowners or get a lawyer" The General Manager ** [redacted] called and left this on our voicemail on March 5th Regards, [redacted]

Hello and thank you for reaching out to us -8/30/ [redacted] *** joined Meenan Oil as an Automatic Delivery Home Heation Oil customer -10/7/ [redacted] had an account balance of $ -10/8/ [redacted] received an oil delivery of gallons The cost of the delivery was $The account's overall balance was now $ -10/9/ [redacted] reported that he had a leaking tank to Meenan A Meenan technician recommended to [redacted] that he have his tank pumped out to avoid further contamination of the surrounding area [redacted] was told that if he decided to do a pump out, his oil would be be split between a temporary drum and the remainder would be returned to his new oil tank once installed [redacted] agreed to a pump out of the tank for $ The account's overall balance was now $ -10/16/ [redacted] was charged $for his annual Service Contract renewal The account's balance was now $1, -10/23/ [redacted] had his Service Contract cancelled and credited back The account's balance was now $ -Unknown Date--- [redacted] decided he was going to convert his heating system to gas -10/29/ [redacted] told Meenan Service Manager Jim G [redacted] by phone that he wanted a credit for the oil delivery made on 10/8/ Jim G [redacted] told [redacted] that the oil belonged to him, was mixed with any particulates/sludge coming from his old tank, and had no value to Meenan, so Meenan would not execute a credit Meenan would bring back the oil to [redacted] ***'s new tank or have it disposed of [redacted] was not happyy with this and told Jim G [redacted] that he would not pay the balance on his account For this reason, Jim G [redacted] told [redacted] that his account would be closed effective tomorrow and his outstanding balance would be sent to a third party for collection We would ask that [redacted] pay his outstanding balance of $as soon as possible As [redacted] has refused to take his oil back, we will dispose of it Thank You

Hello and thank you for your inquest The following is a summary of the conversation alluded to by Mr***: On 4/13/3:25pm Mr*** called Meenan Oil and spoke with the General Manager Chris B*** Mr*** was upset that the Meenan tech currently in his home was going to put his account on stop because his oil tank had no legs and was on top of blocks Chris B [redacted] explained to Mrthat the tech was correct because his current set up was not to code and was a liability risk to his home Mrbecame argumentative and refused to have his tank replacedChris B [redacted] recommended that Mr*** get a quote and consider the replacement for a couple days, but Mrrefused Chris B [redacted] told Mrthat he would close the account for "failing to maintain equipment to code"
