I called to pay collections that were on my credit report I let them know what I was paying and they informed me I had moreI asked what they were and they have been removed from credit report years agoWhen asked for a receipt they told me I would receive a statement in mail showing all outstanding accounts since they opened Some are over years old
I disputed directly to the company and they claim that they cannot find me in their system because of lack of informationI call BS because they clearly had the number that came directly from the credit reportThey have my name, they were given the so called origional creditor nameLiars, if you can put this account on collections, you can find me in your systemBut since you cannot find me, you have no right to collect on a debt that you can't validate
The company applied collection notice on my credit reports because I have the same name as the person they are trying to collect from I don't even live in Alaska but they said I had GCI home internet service They had no concern that I am the wrong person even after I got the information from GCI to confirm they have the wrong personThey even suggested that I pay someone else debit anyway Now I'm forced to work through all three credit reporting companies to get it removed
I received a call from this companyThe girl on the other line was rudeI explain to her that I submitted my MedicareShe said with attitude well we need a copyI told her I sent a notice saying this information, she inform that they mailed it to me already it was on December 6, ask her what address do you have on file, she reads my address out loudI advised her that I did not get the noticeThen says rudely why are you yelling at me and giving me attitudeI told her I was not, if she would give me a second I can explain to her I don't have a way to make a copy, plus I never received the letterShe was very rude, I tried to explain to her the Medicare is paying for itI even told her for now I can give her the information ( number) she said NO we need a copy of thatAt that point I was down trying to explain myself and told her good day
On 8/17/I spoke with a representative by the name of Veronica she was pleasant while I was explaining I was trying to pay off collections items on my credit report I asked her would it be possible to remove these items from my report after payment she stated no they cannot do this I explained that I have spoken with the credit bureaus and they stated it was at the discretion of the creditor She stated that they could not, I asked to speak with a supervisor and this is when her tone changed She stated that they will just tell you the same thing, I said thank you I would still like to hear it from them and get their informationShe transferred me to a Corey M [redacted] or Cory, he stated he was the manager and before I could explain what I wanted to fully he was prepared with an answer without fully hearing my question When I explained to him that Mrs V [redacted] had provided this information and I was confirming this before I spoke with my attorney, confirming that I spoke with
Cornerstone Credit Services has put a fraudulent, derogatory item on my credit report that is incorrect and inaccurateI have disputed the derogatory item with them and they are unresponsive
My credit score has been very negatively impacted by Cornerstone's initiativesThey are like ambulance chasers, pouncing on every occasion to try and collect, even when you have settled with your creditorThey use harassment practices that are illegal, like calling at all hours of night and day, and they also manufacture debt, invent amounts due and refuse to consider that a debt might have been solved outside of their circuitI would hope that in the end, they get run out of town for all the lives they are ruiningI have done collections myself, and it is important, first and foremost, to respect the people you want to work with, not drag them in the mud and make their lives impossible
Cornerstone Credit reported information about me to all three credit bureausWhen I first received a notice in the mail, I contacted them by phoneI explained my insurance company (BCBS/MA) was aware of the hospital's billing error (their client) and that I had already paid the maximum annual due for my emergency surgery and that I was current with no amount dueMy insurance sent this information to the hospitalThe rep at Cornerstone that I spoke to promised to follwith the hospital and notify me by mail if they had any questionsI provided all of my updated contact information at this timeOver a month later I see that this did not occur and instead they filed this account to the credit bureaus, ruining my credit and credit scores with their negative account information
In I became delinquent with a cell phone billI was never contacted by CornerstoneWhen I applied for a loan years later, my bank denied me because of the delinquency to the cell phone company, NOT CORNERSTONEI contacted the cell phone company and paid the bill in fullCornerstone then placed a "finders fee" to my credit report of dollarsWhen in fact I had never heard of Cornerstone, nor did they "find me" to pay the debtI have contacted Cornerstone in several attempts to have this removed as it has my credit in a negative impactCornerstone has not removed this fee and it has been over a year since the cell phone was paid in full
Hello I have been paying off some medical debt I have on my credit report, Just recently I have moved to Colorado Springs I contacted cornerstone Credit about these derogatory accounts on my credit reports and since I live in Colorado they say they cannot give me any information unless I have someone in Alaska come into their office to pick up some paper work on these accounts.(really) If they are going to be reporting anything to my credit reports then they need to send me the information proving these accounts are even mine before I pay any more offI just checked my credit and I haven't lived in Alaska for almost years and now Cornerstone just within the last couple months of me contacting them they have added another account to the credit bureaus and its not possible that I have a new medical account that they are reporting as of this year! I cant dispute these accounts because that just makes things worse off for my creditI guess if they are not going to validate and they a
