Meet Your Gig Reviews (%countItem)

Approximately, one week ago, I signed up for a coaching service titled "meetyourgig.com.

This coaching system is not working for me. I was looking for a more amicable and professional coaching experience. Based on our conversations, it appears that you are focused on supporting clients who accept everything you say and ask no questions. It seems to me that your message is 'your way or no way.?

Additionally, your style of coaching might work for other people, but does not work for me. Your style has frustrated me. In particular, you have mentioned that you are 'spending more time with me than any other client? and this is a negative and discouraging statement. I can only tell you that in all my years of coaching and mentoring people, I have never spoken with people the way that I have been spoken to during the time I have been in your program. A job search at my level is difficult enough without a coach being angry at the client because he is asking questions. Frankly, it is demoralizing, dispiriting and not conducive to conducting an executive level job search.

Based on our multiple conversations, I very uncomfortable continuing our working relationship and do not think that your program will help me find the executive level job that I seek. Therefore, I need to move on with my job search and am terminating my participation in your program. As consideration for your time, I will pay you $750, even though I have only been in your program 10 days.

Meet Your Gig Response • Feb 27, 2020

My name is ***, Founder & CEO of meetyourgig.com. I've coached 1,000+ clients since 2013, and am saddened at our 1st, and hopefully last, Revdex.com complaint.

Honesty. Accountability. Integrity. Commitment. Results. These are our company values and tend to be the values of the clients who engage our support.

I agree with the disgruntled client that our approach is not for everyone.

That's why we spend 1+ hour with prospective clients BEFORE inviting them to enroll.

During this consultation, we assess goals, challenges and limitations. We explain how our systematic process will maximize their career options, fulfillment and income, if they are coachable and execute as instructed. We send links to a member tour, resume portfolio, client correspondence archives, 50+ written endorsements and 15+ hours of audio testimony.

We tell everyone that if they don't understand our approach, trust us or are not coachable, NOT to enroll. Our expectation is that when they move forward, they are committed.

On 2/4/20, I spent 2+ hours on our introductory chat.

On 2/5, another 32 minutes answering follow-up questions.

He requested to speak with a former client. Later that day, a former client who engaged me 3 years ago, and has since leveraged my methods to advance from Director to CEO, increasing his earnings by 6X over that time, agreed to chat.

On 2/7, I followed up to ensure satisfaction.

He enrolled on 2/10, checking (signing) this digital form...

"I have read and agree to the Terms of Service and authorize meetyourgig.com to bill my debit/credit card $1997 for instant enrollment in The Executive Career Accelerator, plus a recurring $59 monthly fee for ongoing access to unlimited member loyalty benefits; cancel anytime. All intellectual property and proprietary resources associated with The Executive Career Accelerator are intended for personal usage only, and may not be disseminated to any unauthorized party without the expressed written consent of meetyourgig.com. Violators will be prosecuted. All sales are final. No refunds."

On 2/12, he submitted his 1st exercise for review via a built-in coaching session. During this call, I gave specific instructions regarding next steps and offered a 1-on-1 for $99 to expedite his progress.

On 2/16, he purchased that session, but he skipped multiple steps and his work didn't reflect the standard reinforced with transparency to all members.

Only 0.04% of clients have deviated from the process they paid to execute. As a coach, this is uncomfortable for me, but to protect my reputation, and my other clients, I must reinforce the rules of engagement. The other 3 accepted accountability and we moved forward as a team.

On 2/17, I emailed this...

"I have a specific process, with built-in checks and balances, that I follow for a reason. Quality is everything, and since I'm working with many clients, this standard ensures consistency and reinforcement of vital concepts that carry over into meetings and interviews, where there are no second chances to build trust. I mentioned I can move at your pace WITHIN my process.

Last we spoke, on Wednesday, I invited you to accelerate your approval of Bio Section 1 by purchasing a 1-on-1 and emailing me the remaining edits we discussed so I could complete by end of week (if not next day) offline and send back to you, enabling us to pick up on Section 2 with Monday's call (saving you the remainder of time to do again offline when applicable).

If you would like to Purchase a 1-on-1 via the site TODAY (in the morning) then email me your 3 documents, as time allows during my day, I will look at the resume first. If its close enough to my standard, I'll work on that. If there are major formatting and content gaps that would be caught and corrected with the process I've fine tuned with over a thousand before you, I will revert to section 1 and 2 with the hour I have. It all depends on quality; my brand is built on it.

As mentioned, I do personal critiques offline (not live scheduled). Again, this reinforces accountability for investing time to provide all of the content outlined in the tutorial, instructions, examples, samples, recorded videos and ensure the quality standard matches mine, before submitting. If that has been done, I should have everything I need to review and make edits.

I'll send you back what I have completed along with any highlights/notes prior to the call tonight so we can pick up during that session with live discussion if youre able to attend. If not, recording/edits will be emailed.

These are the same program checks and balances *** and everyone else you listened to committed to and executed. I hope you'll choose to respect and embrace that which has been proven to deliver better results.

I'm not trying to slow you down. I'm doing what you paid me to do; prepare you for results."

On 2/19, per his request for a 5-minute chat, I spent 49 minutes addressing other concerns. He didn't want to list start/end dates for prior roles, fearing age discrimination. As these are best practices in resume writing, his LinkedIn profile lists the dates and employers will see him during interviews, I encouraged him control what he can to demonstrate and create more value than his competition. I told him he was free to ignore me, but I will always advise what I have tested and validated.

On 2/19, he emailed me what is pasted in the Revdex.com complaint.

I replied via email...

"I appreciate your due-diligence, curiosity, skepticism, questions, concerns, frustrations, challenges and honesty.

One thing I say to every prospective client, and said to you during one of our many phone conversations prior to you investing in my coaching, is "Please do not enroll if you do not understand my program, don't fully trust it and are not coachable." Naturally, those who enroll are paying me to be taught how to execute "my way", hence why you don't hear other clients deviating, questioning and interfering with the process via live critiques, Q&A sessions or 85+ hours of recorded coaching. This mindset was also reinforced via the 15+ hours of audio case studies, and the documentation provided BEFORE you enrolled. Moreover, you asked to speak with a former client, a CEO from Columbus OH, who articulated the benefits of doing it "my way".

If you've decided after 10 days that my process and earned conviction cannot help you accomplish your goal, you are certainly welcome to deactivate your account. Click 'My Settings' in the top toolbar, scroll down, click the blue 'Cancel' link and follow the prompts to process your cancellation.

Note: you will still have access to all built-in program resources through the end of the pre-paid 30 days covered by your non-refundable registration fee.

I mentioned I've had 3 clients out of 1,000+ who felt the way you do. After the last time, 2+ years ago, I took measures to ensure my voluntary opt-in form was compliant with best practices for binding online contractual obligations, ensuring I am able to protect my time and proprietary resources from loss.

In addition to the attached screenshot of your lawful enforceable digital signature, your downloads and resource utilization have been documented, your voice is recorded on member coaching sessions, your submissions are recorded via the platform and our emails/call have also been archived.

I appreciate you offering $750 payment in your last correspondence, but I cannot recoup my time, ***'s time or my intellectual property, for which I've invested 7+ years, 2,500+ interviews with executives and 1,000+ hours of coaching to develop the expertise you voluntarily elected to invest in.

As a coach, I am accountable for results. But, I have zero control over a client's commitment to execute as instructed. I'm sorry you have chosen to experiment instead of validate, measure and optimize. You're a smart man and I wish you the very best in your pursuit of an executive role.

Should you change your mind, I remain 100% committed to reinforcing the process and guidance you paid me for to help you get results. I welcome you back to all built-in member channels and pledge to re-build our relationship, so long as you embrace "my way" long enough to see it work.

Until then, I will not deviate from what I have proven to work with 1,000+. That would be illogical and disrespectful to those who do trust me."

As of today, he hasn't cancelled, but he has downloaded 30+ proprietary member documents and consumed 4+ hours live/recorded coaching, worth far more than $2,000 in value. He signed a legally binding agreement after conducting rigorous due-diligence. The program hasn't failed him. He refuses to execute it. I have demonstrated with actions, that I am here to help.

Since 2015, 1,000+ clients have earned 30,000+ interviews, 2,250+ target jobs/clients and $15M in negotiated income increases. He has access to t
