Mr*** purchased this unit from our firm.Our website clearly stated at the time of the purchase that electrical items and controllers are not returnableOur website also clearly stated that we would assist him in processing an RMA if possible to have it returned for repair.Mr*** contacted
our firm when he was having problems correctly configuring the unit during initial setupI sent him a very simple to use flow chart to assist him with the configuration and setupAt the bottom of that flow chart it clearly stated that if there were any questions to contact the manufacturer directlyAfter reviewing the document Mr*** stated that he still could not get it workingHe refused to contact the manufacturer as stated on the document.The manufacturer will process an RMA to have his unit repaired as soon as they are notified and have the opportunity to ascertain whether or not it is actually defectiveSince Mr*** has chosen to not notify them there will be no RMA issued by the manufacturer.Mr*** then contacted our firm and contrary to our written store policy requested we pay return shipping for his ten pound unit and tissue him a full refund.As stated earlier our website clearly stated that the unit was not returnable at the time of the purchase and although the return policy was recently updated still does not allow for a return of his item.It is not possible for any firm to survive in the current business climate by providing any customer with a 100% refund on any product because they are unable to correctly configure and set up the product they purchased and are for whatever reason unwilling to seek assistance through the correct channelsThis particular unit is not returnable to our wholesaler which is the reason for the no return policy from our firm

Review: I purchased two pieces of growing equipment worth almost 700.00. One item is unopened and unused. One item was tested and found defective.

In dealing with [redacted], our first conversation he said he would get an RMA sent out. the next conversation he said he was waiting on the manufacturer to issue an RMA.

Now the lastest email states they can not be returned.

Before purchase I read the returns policy on their website. Since then, it seems the policy and website has changed to disallow returns for the category of items I purchased.

[redacted] was helpful with providing contact information for the manufacturer.Desired Settlement: ship the items back to mega growers. mega growers issue a complete refund.
