Response:In our Mega Gym agreement it states, "Renewal terms may be cancelled at any time provided a 30-DAY WRITTEN notice is delivered to the club's address." We never received any written notice until 01/04/2017, the same day that the couple's agreement was due to renew and the same day that they
were charged for their January dues of $(not $68.99)We do have both the signed agreement and the signed cancellation form on file at the facilityA verbal cancellation has never been accepted in the years we have been in businessAll of our staff is professionally trained and understand that there is no way to cancel an agreement verballyThis customer also could not verify which employee (of total) they verbally told they wanted to cancel their membership
