We give all of our customers complimentary days or mile warranty on their vehiclesWe did not hear a complaint about the vehicle at all during that time frameWhen a customer signs the contract to purchase the vehicle it is their responsibility to pay off the balance of
said contract even if the vehicle is repossessed

I am rejecting this response because: on 4/14/My husband spoke with tristen and he agrees to pay for the expenses of the carI did call several times on 4/13/with the first call being to speak with the "Manager" *** and when *** got on the phone he explained to me that he was not the manager and that I need to speak with the salesman TristenI then told *** that the guy *** that I spoke with on 4/13/ informed me that he (eric) was the manager*** informed me that he wasn't actually the manager and they told me to call back at to speak with ***I called back at 1pm they said that *** was not inTo me they are very unprofessional for the fact they are lying and won't let me speak or know who the manager isI then let a family mechanic look at my engine and he indeed said that it was the transmission so we called Mega Motors and spoke with *** once again and he informed up to send a work order through fax and he asked for the mechanics name and number I insured him that I will give him all the information once everything was squared awayDue to Mega Motors and the unprofessional dishonest sales man I didn't trust them enough to give out my mechanics informationOn 4/14/My husvand spoke to *** and he agrees to pay for the expenses on the carWhen he receives the work order he then denies to pay for any expenses due to the mileage which was only an extra hundred over what he says his "contract states"I've had the car for days *** did not inform me that the vehicle had a horrible transmission and I haven't had the car for a month yetI'm suffering extreme distress due to the fact that I got ripped off dollars plus the fact that their refuse to repair damages for selling a vehicle with a bad tramission Not to mention I have a full time job which I am suffering due to my transportation now

We sent the customer to Affordable Auto Repair & Smog the day we were contacted by herThe part necessary to fix the issue had to be orderedOnce the shop recieved the parts they contacted her and she brought the vehicle in on 1/25/and the issue was fixedWe paid 100% for parts and labor

I
am rejecting this response because:This still does not address the issue of how many miles are actually on the car, if it were 162,some years ago, and was turned back, it is not the low mileage vehicle that was advertised and bought in good faithI still am very weary of driving this vehicle, and afraid to drive it any distance, as I don't know if at over 162,miles, if it was just touched up to last a few more miles for a quick saleI do feel I am deserved a discount on this high mileage vehicle.I was also told at the time of sale that it would be registered to 2018, and have just received the title and registration, which they only paid $for the three months until it runs out, I was charged much more for this as well and told it was smogged and would not be due for a smog until 2019, since it would be smogged and licensed for this year

We purchased the vehicle from manheim sf bay auctionThe seller stated the miles were actualWe provided the customer with a signed by her autocheck reportDMV only does renewal regestrations within days of expirationWe sent the customer a license fee refund check of dollars

No where does it state 'hour warrenty' on the contractThe costumer signed a buyers guide stating they have limited warrenty for the earlier of days or milesAs stated before we did not hear a complaint from the customer at all within the warrenty period

We spoke with the customer and told him to take the vehicle to a shop 4/13/14 and the customer informed us the the vehicle is in the shop and is being diagnosed. We requested the shops name and phone number so we could give them a call and get informed on the miles, any codes on the vehicle, and...

what needed to be done. The customer said he would give us a call back. The customer called back several times and every time we requested the shops name and phone number and still was not provied with the information. We called the customer 4/14/17 and again requested  the shops name and phone number and the customer told us he never took it to the shop he took it to a family friend. We informed them to take it to a bar certified shop for a diagnostic and we will go from there.

They customer stated numureous times they took it to a shop, but after speaking with the customer for a day they finally said they just took it to a family friend. We told the customer to take it to a bar licensed mechanic shop for a diagnostic. The customer test drove the vehicle twice before purchase. Once a few days before purchase and then the day of puchase. We requested a work order and the first one that they sent had no information of the vehicle VIN, Miles, diagnostic reports, or BAR license. They second work order recieved the same day on 4/14/17 at 12:45 PM was sent and the vehicle mileage was 116787 and we sold them the vehicle at 115654 miles. The customer has stated to us and the Revdex.com that they only drove the vehicle about 300 miles from the date of purchase. The vehicl is over the 1000 miles on the limited warranty. The customer then stated the shop made a mistake on the miles. We called the shop and verified that the miles on the work order were correct at [redacted]. We called the customer and informed then unfortunatly there is nothing we can do because they are outside their limited warranty.

The customer purchased the vehicle on the 29th of November 2015. The customer brought the vehicle in on the 23rd of December because she stated the "Change oil" light was coming on. We preformed an oil change service on the vehicle. We did not hear back from the customer till mid April. We told the...

customer that their 30 days/1000 mile warranty had expired and unfortunately there is nothing we can do.

I am rejecting this response because: my contract states there was only a 48 hour warranty I complained about the vehicle the third day mega motors should show you the contract my vehicle was broken into I called them there was nothing they could do I made a police report

I am rejecting this response because: Revdex.com has my contract and it clearly states 48 hours on there and why the car showing up as paid by dealer in my credit report when my payment is due the 16th of this month I paid last month so I don't see how you were able to do that

I was sold a car that had engine problems and broke down within the first week of driving it. Sales person lied about the truck having major issues. My name is[redacted] and I purchased a [redacted] from Mega Motors Inc, 11282 US 70 Business HWY West, Clayton NC 27520 on February 4th, 2015. After having the truck for a week and a half, the car began to break down on us. When we purchase the truck my husband asked the sales guy Mr. [redacted] was their any major engine problems, has the check engine light on the vehicle ever came on and the Mr. [redacted] stated that there were no major problems with the truck, it run wells and it could have minor problems(I am a witness). We paid $3500 for the truck and only drove it a week and a half. The gears don't switch, we cannot go up a hill and the car only gets up to 15-20 mph. This is our only form of transportation, we have children and we need to get back and forth to work.I contacted Mega Motors on the 21st of February and explained the problem. I asked could they fix the truck or give us something that runs. We explained to them that this was our only means of transportation, we spent our hard earned money on this vehicle and we have kids. She said she would talk to her husband who sold us the car and the one who told us there was no major problems and she will get back to me. We asked to speak to him and she would never put him on the phone. She called me back and said there is nothing they can do. They were a family with kids, and I asked her how would she feel if someone did this to them. She kept saying, you brought it as is and we knew that but, we was lied to about the truck having major problem. I have recently lost my job and I don't have the money to get this truck fix. All we want is a decent vehicle, them to fix it or pay to get it fixed and if that can't be done, we would like a refund.I just hope Mega Motors realize that they cannot go on doing this to people who work hard for their money and keep getting a way with it. I have contacted legal aid to get an attorney to get this matter taken care of. Legal Aid contacted me on today and assigned an attorney to me and they will be contacting me with a week times. If there is anything that can be done, please help us. We have truck that is parked in front our home that we can't really drive. I have also researched complaints about this dealership and there are many and also, some that was sent to the Revdex.com. Thanks you for time and help with this matter. Purchase Date: 2/4/2015Problem Date: Started on the 17Th and got worse on the 20th.Contacted them :2/21/2015Seller:[redacted] and [redacted]Paid:$3500 CashDesired SettlementI called Mega Motors on the 21st to request for them to fix the vehicle or trade it out for one that works. If the couldn't do that, then I would like a refund. I spoke with the owners and they said that they would not do either one of them because we brought it as is. But, they lied to us about the truck not having any engine problems, no Check engine light and no major problems. The owner said they may be minor problems. I spent my hard earned money on a vehicle that is not really drivable and I need them to do something about it. This is not how to do business and lie and rob people of their money just to sell a vehicle.

I bought a car that was advertised as being in good condition. The car turned out to have a broken head gasket and died within 2 weeks of driving.I bought a 2000 Hyundai Accent from the dealer on 9/23/13 for $1000. The vehicle was advertised as being in good shape minus some known flaws. When we went to see the dealer he assured us that it would run well if taken care of. After registering the vehicle a week and a half later I began driving it to work. It lasted me about 2 weeks before it turned out that the radiator had been patched up. The patch was a temporary liquid patch and now it turns out the car has a broken head gasket.Desired SettlementI just moved to [redacted], NC and don't have a lot of money to begin with. I would understand if I had the car a couple of months and then it gave out, but I barely drove this car two weeks before the radiator gave. What upsets me most is that the dealer patched it up just enough to make it seem great on a test run. I just want my money back so I can put it towards buying a reliable car.

Review: When I first got the 2009 [redacted] car, it was working good. 15 days passed by and I started having problems with it. A light popped up saying check engine. I took it back to the dealer where I got it which was Mega Motors in Stockton, CA. They told me they would fix the problem. They said that the it needed a oil change. They supposedly did it and that that would fix the problem. Not even 15 days passed that the engine sign popped up again. I went back to the dealer to tell them that the light turned on again. They said that they couldn't do anything to fix it because my 30 day warranty was over. I took it to the [redacted] to see what was really going on. They told me that they had to change some valves from the smog and tat the sensor of the transmission didn't work. They did all the work and I payed $400.A month passed by and I started having problems again with the car. This time it wasn't working. When I tried going reverse or put it in drive it wasn't letting me move. It kept making a clicking sound and wouldn't let me move my car. I took it back to chase and they said that the transmission didn't work. They found metallic pieces in the transmission. They told me that I needed to get a new transmission and that would like around $4,000 to get it fixed. I only had that car for 4 months and it gave me all those problems.Desired Settlement: I want the dealer to give me back all my money and to take away the contract. I don't want nothing to do with them no more.

Response:

We give all of our customers complimentary 30 days or 1000 mile warranty on their vehicles. We did not hear a complaint about the vehicle at all during that time frame. When a customer signs the contract to purchase the vehicle it is their responsibility to pay off the balance of said contract even if the vehicle is repossessed.

Review: I purchased a car fromhere in 2013 I put 2800.00 down ive made my payment on time and in the correct ammount. Not only do I also get charged 5$ to make my payment every month but thaqt car itself was a rip off I have had to put more then 2500.00 into the car for repairs. on top of regular maintnece in totl even paying my monthly bill ive put over 7000.00 dollars in the car and am still putting more money into this. This is unaccepctable ive only had the car a little more then a yr shouldnt have had to put this much money in a car in just a yr. My wiring in car is all wrong my transmission is going out that car had a oil leek I took to dealer an they susposebly fixed it when I took to another machanic was never fixed.Desired Settlement: this I really unaccpectable I shouldnt have had put more money into the car and I put more money in the car then its actually worth. At least amount taking off the princeable or settlement something.

Response:

The customer purchased the vehicle on February 8th of 2013 with free 30 days or 1000 miles warrenty. We have never heard a complaint from the customer until this month of April in 2014. We even helped the customer out by extending her next payment date with no late fee. There is a card fee charge when making a payment with a visa or master card. These are standard bank fees that any place gets charged. We inform our customers and tell them they can always come in and pay cash, or if they dont have time they can send a check or money order to us and they will not get charged those hefty bank fees.

Response:

We gave the customer a free 30 day/1000 warrenty. The customer did not purchase an extended warrenty. The customer made her payments on time with no complaint. After the initial service we did not hear from the customer about this until now which has been over a year.

I am rejecting this response because: I did take the vehicle back ro the shop point is dealer sold a messed up car and im putting more money into fixing it then its actually worth.

Review: Car lot sold me a lemon. Transmission was gone out on car when I purchased it. They refused to fix it when they knew the transmission was out. I continued to ask for him to swap out my 2003 volkswagon jetta or fix the transmission they refused too. He waited for my 30 days to be up for them to tell me I'm responsible to fix it. I have been paying a car note every month on a car I can not drive. All I want is to be treated fair.Desired Settlement: To just give me back my money and I can go else were I feel they got over on me. Because I am a female. I would like all $3,930 back.

Initial Business Response

Company states the consumer bought the vehicle in March with a 30 day 1000 mile warranty. She did not come to the dealership with issues until May; clearly outside of the warranty.

In an effort to show good will they credit the consumer her May payment, allowing her to keep that months payment to use for repairs.

They did not hear from her again until Sept. when she showed up and dropped off the vehicle without notice, and just left.

They called her and sent her a certified letter. She was advised that she can pick up her vehicle without penalty within 15 days, but after 15 days it will be considered repossessed and she'll be turned into collections. They did not get a return call or letter. Now they have a letter from the Revdex.com. The vehicle is considered repossessed voluntarily, and the remaining balance of her contract has been turned over to collections.
