Mega Motorworks had a "promotion" where they mailed out a flier with an attached pull tabI WON the dollar cash prize per my ticketWhen I went to the dealer they said I hadn't won, but was now entered for the "grand" prizeI showed this pull tab ticket to several people, and ALL agreed it was a WINNING ticketNot sure how "HONEST" these people are when it comes to car sales, but in this case get a zero rating for integrity

Business states that they have been trying to contact consumer to resolve the issue, but have not been able to. They need to know if consumer wants a refund, or if he needs a new dash

In regards to this complaint, the dealership has issued a correct and accurate refund for said cancellationsThere are certain policies and procedures in place for canceling any products purchased by the consumerThis customer,
unfortunately, did not go through the proper stepsWhen the customer finally did the cancellations the proper way a prorated refund was calculated based on the time the warranty and gap insurance were in placeAs far as a conversation with the owner about promises to cover any difference to reach a full refund, the owner claims this was never saidIn fact, the owner claims he explained to the customer why the refund would be prorated and how these companies calculate any refundsSimply, if the customer's vehicle would have had a mechanical breakdown or total loss the car would have been coveredA full refund cannot be claimed after a period of time simply because a customer no longer wants the productWe gave the customer any and all monies owed based on the date and mileage of the cancellations

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
As explained in my complaint, I tried to have the policies cancelled within 7 days but the company failed to cancel them for almost 6 months.  So I feel they should pay back the difference just as the owner claimed he would do.
