The business called me to say they can not resolve the issue.  I have already got my glasses done at another business so I do not want the business charging my insurance or me for the eye exam since they mislead me to believe they can provide the services I was seeking.

Review: I have been a customer here for over 10 years and came in to get new lenses for existing frames that I brought in. When I came in I told them exactly what I wanted to do and they said no problem we can use the existing frames but I needed to do the eye exam first, which is a number of different exams and took an hour to do. I would not have done the exams if I knew they could not put the new lenses into my existing frame. After the eye exam they tell me they can't use my frames because they need to ship the frames to my insurance company to put in the lenses ( they only put in the lenses in house for frames purchased in store) and they have no way of telling them what shape lenses I want. I was pressured to purchase the frames in house or they could not help me. This is the worst ** I have heard and is very clear that they misled me when I walked in to get me to waste an hour doing the eye exams so they can charge me and my insurance. This was clearly a scam as I did not receive the service/product I came there for. I would not have consented to do the eye exams if they told me upfront that they can not put the new lenses in my existing frames. I do not feel that I or my insurance should pay anything for the exams if they can not put the new lenses into my frames, I was cheated into taking those exams only because they told me they provide that service. Please help me resolve this.Desired Settlement: To remedy this situation they need to do one of the following:1. Put in the new lenses in house into the frames I brought in.2. Not charge me or the insurance for any of the eye exams as I was scammed into taking those.
